Besides, the source of that "news" is The Sun and The News of The World... that says it all really  Stevie and Owen have already said so long as the new manager that comes in (Benitez) buys at least 3 more top players and we try to make a good challenge for the title next season they aren't going anywhere... if we don't then they will leave and I wouldn't blame either of em.
