I know i'm kinda late for this but, welcome to the forums Out of curiosity, do you prefer kof 2k2 or 2k3? I recomend Samurai Showdown Tenka and Neo Geo BC ps2 ports from the games you mentioned. Unfortunately the DC isn't having SNKP games ported to it anymore and since they've gotten their shit together you should definately consider modding your ps2.

Nice to meet you! I like 2k2 quite a bit more. I'm not completely into the tagging and of my regular team (Vanessa/Kula/Shermie) none are present in 2k3. I also dislike many of the characters introduced outside of Ash and maybe Malin. As for modding my ps2, is that really safe? I know that slidecards kill the laser but don't know much else. If nothing else, I might just pick one up used since I'm going to be in Japan a month from now anyway. And yeah, I'm drooling over Battle Coliseum! Oh yeah, one more question for you guys. Just out of curiosity, how much does an atomiswave usually go for? And how long, in general, do games retain their rediculous prices for it?

I like 2k2 quite a bit more. Sweet, 2k2 is definately the better game. As far as arcade hardware prices go i'm definately not your man but i can tell you that they're expensive as fuck. About ps2 modding, just last christmas i modded mine with a fliptop lid and swap magic discs. It's perfectly safe and extremely easy to install. Though you'll definately want to use a slim ps2 (import and backup games run perfectly on a slim ps2 but not always on an original model) even if it means buying one. $150 plus $30 to get your fiptop and discs is way easier then spending $300 plus for only the software if you go with an AW. One day if i can afford it i'm defiantely getting my own cab and stuff though.
