goemon i meant if you listen to kaz hes hinting at should the whole site be under review?not just neotalk. in a few WEEKS NEO will be gone neoforlife?that life is gone my friends.atomiswaveforlife.com?     The site will always be neogeoforlife.com... why? Well, here's my reasoning for buying the domain in the first place: to be honest I got this domain name back in 2000, and it was at the time when SNK had gone bankrupt and everyone thought that the Neo Geo had no future left whatsoever (kind of similar to whats happening now)... the name NeoGeoForLife came about from the fact that the site was a fan site dedicated (partly) to remembering this great console as well as providing reviews for the games... but then Playmore came about and things carried on anyway. NeoGeoForLife remains and always will be there for as long as I can keep the site up for and as long as there is interest in the system... which I think will be for some time. Remember, just because the newer games are going to be on another system doesn't mean people will just stop playing their fave games on the Neo Geo... I know I won't. Of course, being a fan of SNK games, the site will cover the newer stuff, it would be stupid not to... I just have to decide on how exactly I'm going to do it. If I did end up making another site for this stuff it certainly wouldn't be AtomiswaveForLife.com. I have a few ideas if I do that, but as people have already said earlier in the thread, it's probably better to keep everything together and just try to concentrate on the *games* instead of the system that they are on. When the site gets redesigned (eventually) everything will be incorporated into it so that it is easy to find whatever you are looking for. Kaz |

kazuya personally i wanted it all to stay neoforlife my original post said as much but goemon took the piss out of it so i felt i had to explain my post to him again .of course interest will remain ,dont even think about it 4 one sec,i meant neotalk can still carry on as such as nearly all who read are neo fans,aw would need a long time before people think of aw bfore neo, prob 3-4years then aw might be on last legs!

Mh, i think the main purpose of the site must stay NEOGEO/SNK related.
This is after all a fansite aimed to the AES/MVS,neo CD,pocket series in the first place.
Neogeo hardware will become a gaming classic(if not already), i think it's important to maintain that priority view here on the site.
The atomiswave isn't snk produced, it's just a thirt party hardware exploited to continue producing SNK games on.
I think it's a good idea to get an entire new section in the future to use for the atomiswave platform games that are going to come out, it is after all the future of the snk games.
But non the less, it's still not SNK own, so changing the site into focusing on the atomiswave in general and leaving the neogeo behind would be a big mistake, IMHO.

Sorry if i pissed you off or something dude, i still can't understand what this message saying overall either honestly ;D but whatever "piss out" means, it wasn't my intention. Anyways, i didn't mean for this simple thread about the name of the neo talk section to start all this intense stuff about the future of the site. Of course the site shouldn't be renamed, no matter what future hardware snk games are on people will still buy neo-geo products (one day i still plan on getting an mvs) and therefore all the great info & reviews on the site are timeless. I think the site should stay overall how it is, just report info on AW SNK games as we have so far. About the reviews though, my idea would be to just start a new heading for the Atomiswave SNK reviews under all the neo-geo SNK reviews. Even if a little redesign is necisary, it wouldn't be bad. |

Sorry, it was probably my fault for mentioning the site earlier on in the thread  But yeah, as I said I have no intention of changing the name of the site, there is no need and no matter what happens it is still a Neo Geo site. When the new design happens (whenever that is) I will incorporate the non-neo geo reviews into the site a little better, so we will see what happens Kaz |

I have another older game I'd love to re-review, but I may do KOF 2003 soon. For the next week or two I'm gonna concentrate on finishing a couple of PS2 games that I have on the go, as they've been sitting around for a long time without being played Kaz |
