I used to play Kaillera a lot a while back, but I tried it recently with Klark and couldn't get it working. Not sure why, will have to give it another go. Even though I had massive lag when I used to play it against my friend in the US ages ago, we had some awesome SS4 matches as we were pretty even on that game  Kaz |

thats one of the problems on kaillera...pings over about 150 and you start to get some lag.i try to stick 2 playing players under about 125 to make sure it runs well.played my brother , who's got a 56k connection,he had a ping of about 300,talk about sssssllllllllllllooooooooowwwwwwwwww ;D

I get the feeling that it might have been because some of us are using different sets (patched roms etc), so that might be causing some probs with it possibly?

This game is utter rubbish; dull, derivative, ugly, clunky, souless pap of the worst kind. SNKP should hang their collective heads in shame.

Didn't like it then? ;D I don't agree though personally, although I know a few people on the net that would agree with you. Personally I think it sucks ass as a real competitive game, mainly due to the glitches and inconsistency in hit detection at times. But as a fun game between players of average skill it is still pretty damn good. As for being ugly, I guess that's down to personal taste as well - it's a long way from being the best looking game on the Neo Geo, but it isn't that bad. I think most of the Capcom side look pretty good (some like Demitri look especially good), whereas the SNK side (mostly) look the same as they have done since about 1996  . The backgrounds are mostly decent too and I kind of like the sparse feeling that they have, but I know I'm probably in the minority there. Overall it isn't exceptional, but I don't think it is as bad as some people out there make it out to be. Hopefully the sequel will improve on every aspect, much the same as CvS2 did with CvS1. Kaz |
