Rurouni Kenshin-One Of Best Anime Ever !

I think that Rurouni Kenshin was and still is one of the best Cartoons ever created

The plot, characters, music, themes R all Marvelous.

I rate this Anime 100% ... it's just so kick ass

The Legend of Kyoto arch was great. After that the anime didn't reach the same level anymore imo.

The ova's are something to behold too. The drama...

I agree supreme lord rurouni kenshin is the best anime ever in my humble opinion. To bad cartoon network stop showing them. I didnt particularly like thye ova's though. I liked how each of the supporting cast developed into stronger fighter.

I LOVE 1st OVA (SUPERB ANIMATION), Battousai Himura was TEH SHIT! Great story, GREAT fight scenes, SUperb chars... god i wished i lived in those days...

the 2nd OVA (seihousen) reeked, imo, prolly bcu its fanmade, but then Kenshin dies due to a STD, hame lame and somewhat degrading for a legendary swordsman to die like that... and what's with Kenshin's son? his CLONE? at least Yashiko looked cool and Einishi WAS FINALLY ANIMATED! another

I LIKED the Anime series, well thats what got me into RK , the Kyoto arc was great, in fact, almost everything IS GREAT except...
again, as some of you already know, I HATE the Fung Shui/last arc series of the anime, it sucks, story was uninteresting, pacing was, somewaht confusing, and lame MAGICAL Chinese powers , only thing good was the animation improved a bit, prolly bcuz to advances in technology... that aint my RK anymore, but still i watched it, being an RK fan, and not to mention the songs were quite catchy, like Siam Shade's 1/3 and TM Revolution's Heart of Sword

ALL in all, RK IS MY FAVE ANIME EVER!!!!

I could go on about how great and amazing RK is, but ill prolly take me 100 paragraphs

again - Kaz, I'll buy that RK clock, any price! (LOL)

I'm a kenshin fan myself. Although I've only seen the tv series and only through the kyoto arc. One of these days I'll grab the boxsets for it.

I think the Kenshin series was decent but imo the prequel OVA was better then the whole series honestly.

I would kind of agree about the first OVA being better, especially as it's one of my fave animes of all time, but the TV series is a different kettle of fish really so I don't like to compare them too much. As everyone else has said though, the Kyoto arc is amazing, but it kinda dies off a bit after that... it's a shame they didn't wait for a while and then carry on following the mangas storyline instead of doing something completely different.

Supremelord: Anime is the animation, Manga is the comics. Back in the day many people got the two confused because one of the main companies releasing anime stuff was called "manga"
