 A rather new anime serie. I knew about it yesterday and saw episode 1 up to episode 7. It's a running series so i'm looking forward to episode 8.  Madlax is about a female mercenary (?) named Madlax. Her past is still unknown, and Madlax has a complex plot. But we'll get to know more of her through a little girl who looks alot like Kirika from Noir. Heck, it's similair to Noir all the way. Most likely it's from the same creators of Noir. Don't think it's just another girl with guns fanservice anime. Nah, it has a pretty serious story. It's an interesting serie and I'll keep watching it. The action is better than Noir though (meaning alot) and I like how she kills enemies stylish. Oh, did I mention the music rocks in this one? ;D screencap :  |

Edit: Watched it... wasn't too bad, although I'm not hooked yet. I'll try to watch a few more episodes anyways!

I've seen 13 episodes now. It's so similar to noir indeed. Is it just me or does it seem like there's a lot of female "bonding" in this anime? ;D I notice bee train likes to do that a lot.

episode 13 was like, one of the best episodes yet. There were so many interesting things about the plot....I should watch 14 now. Yeah, the female bonding theme is kinda odd at first, and feel weird, but I kinda like it. Then again, who doesnt? |

Oh my god...I didn't like Madlax in ep 14. Except in the end. I like the character Madlax because she talks and looks so innocent from the outside, but is a real killer inside.

I saw a few bad reviews of Madlax, but I gotta say I don't agree with that from what I have seen/heard so far. By the time I get home I should hopefully have the first 13 episodes, can't wait to give them a watch and get to where you guys are... it sounds like it really is getting good!

Gotta admit, it's slow paced. You'll learn only 1 new thing every ep. That's why I was so happy with ep 13. The action isn't great either at the moment, but I think the plot makes up for that. Margeret should be seen in action very very soon too. I hope they explain this *hint* soon "Elda Taluta *has anyone lost his memory yet while reading this*  " |

I've changed a lot since my teens when I lived on a diet of nothing but the best HK action flicks ;D (but all action is still good ) Kaz |
