Hey seiryu what's natsuki crisis about. Also a great 45 minute karate anime is Baki The Grappler great action a little quirky, most blockbusters carry it. What did you guys think of the the Fatal Fury movies? I thought they stunk overall but well drawn. I did like one scene in particular where Kim K fought in front of son my favorite character of the series. The animation of Natsuki crisis is very cool.Lots of battle scenes and funky gamestylish supermoves. some info on Natsuki crisis: home.comcast.net/~hasshin/natsuki.htmlSeiryu

I have a favorite serie that only in Rotterdam I found one of the DVDs. It is a classic from the 70's called Star Blazers. For those who have the Animatrix, during the interviews they show some scenes of it. Unfortunately, I don't think it was that famous outside Japan (and Brazil) because most people I know have no clue about it. But believe me, it is to be seen without a doubt. From the new ones, Hellsing doesn't go out of my mind. I love vampire stuff and this is INCREDIBLE. About films, I adore Ghost in the Shell and D the Vampire Hunter.

I've seen Star Blazers too ;D My vhs tapes of it are a bit old though so I dunno if they'd still play. Now the oldest anime I'd have to have seen is Gigantor(Iron Man 28 in Japan). That's a friggin black and white anime that's older then Lupin and Speed Racer.

I just picked up the DVD of the YuYu Hakusho movie. It is frigin awesome, i almost forgot how cool that movie was. The fightscenes in it are awesome, lot's of heavy hitting punches/kicks and use of cool special moves. If you're an action anime fan, i higly recomend this to you if you ever get the chance to get a hold of a copy of this movie. It's probably one of my all time fav fighting animes. Here's a review that also explains the story of the movie a bit. www.animeondvd.com/reviews2/disc_reviews/1521.php

Yeah Poltergeist Report is awesome. I've seen the entire tv series and few of the fights in it are as great as the ones in the movie.

All my classmates were so crazy about SB that even in HS we managed to get a couple episodes in Japanese and watched it without subtitles like freaks!!!! The name Gigantor is not strange to me. I have watched a couple b&w stuff as well, but I was just a kid. I sincerely don't remember them anymore.

Movie : Akira (Best anime movie ever, I had to think over the ending a little, but in the end I'm just glad it ended - damn that sounds stupid ) Cowboy Bebop : Knockin' On Heavens Door (Great movie, animation was awesome, story and fights too, and the story even related to the series) Kenshin OVA (The classic 1st Kenshin movie, the story is awesome, and it displayed Kenshin's history in a very dramatic way) I've got too many fav movies but these are the ones that came up first in my mind. Series : Naruto (I'm loving this new manga/anime, I like the action, humor, story and drama. It's almost like a perfect anime for me at the moment. ) Cowboy Bebop (Hmmm, 26 episodes, short, but I loved every bit of every episode. It ended in such a great way too...) Neon Genesis Evangelion (Great anime, but Asuka was kinda annoying yet cool. The robot battles are really cool in this anime) Well, I'm done.

I've read all the manga chapters @ www.narutochuushin.com/ up to 189 and got every ep up to 54 on my harddisk. The manga is way ahead of the anime though. When you've seen some episodes, you're instantly hooked. Oh and Raiken...the real fun doesn't start 'till after ep. 20... When Naruto meets up with his old classmates and goes through the Chuunin (sort of leader-ninja-rank) exam to become a Chuunin. Later on in that exam he has to go through a tournament against other genin's from the other villages...that's when you'll meet Gaara from the Hidden Sand Village. He fights without moving and lets his sand do the talking.
