Yet another example of 'Freestyle Parkour' (French words - not sure how to spell - anyone heard of the documentary 'Jump Britain'?).
I'm not sure if everywhere else is like the seaside town where I live (Bournemouth / Poole) but there's been an increase in kids trying to do this sort of thing, albeit very badly. This usually involves running in front of people and then jumping on and off 4-foot high walls.
I was on a bus one day and saw two kids trying to copy this sort of thing and one of them tripped up when trying to vault a railing. It looked painful but he seemed ok (from what I could tell anyways, I was too busy laughing as the bus drove past) I bet hospital emergency rooms hate these guys. At least the guy in the vid's very good at it, though I bet the outtakes might be kinda nasty!

Wow!!! I wish I could do that! This usually involves running in front of people and then jumping on and off 4-foot high walls. Hey, that takes a skill honed with practice. ;D -Drew P.S. Nobody gives Jackie Chan a run for his money. ;D Still this guys is very good.

Nobody gives Jackie Chan a run for his money. ;D Still this guys is very good. I do agree to a certain extent, although not anymore as he has, not surprisingly, slowed down considerably with age, and of course American studios wouldn't quite give him the same freedom in his stunts for various reasons. However, have you seen Ong Bak? If not I'd highly recommend seeing it - awesome film and it looks like Tony Ja might give him a run for his money. Great martial artist and some of the stunts he does in Ong Bak are very impressive. In a weird way though he reminds me of Yuen Biao (HK film or long time Jackie Chan fans know who he is), as he is very acrobatic. Anyway, me stop rambling now... all I'll say is that the video kicked ass! Seen a lot of similar ones before, I'll see if I can find the link to the site I used to go to that had loads of videos like this... edit: here's another vid I found, some very impressive/crazy stuff here too! www.metacafe.com/watch/1426/the_urban_ninja/Kaz

Indeed. Anyone who does a flying kick to someone with legs that are on fire deserves respect! ;D

I saw Ong Bak and I really liked it. Some of the stunts were fantastic. However, as Jet Li said (and, as I thought before, he wasn't just jealous ), alot of the stunts have been borrowed from previous movies. Take for example, Dragons Forever. In this they use many of the stunts(or variations). Similarly, to the barb wire jump in Ong Bak, Timothy Tung Tak-Biao jumps through a broken glass window. They even replay certain kicks! Also, the fighting is similar in some respects. Some of the major fight are decided with very few moves (that are usually kicks), which is very similar to Ong Bak. Still, Ong Bak is a great movie, but it wasn't as ground breaking as I first thought (except the fire - kick, that was amazing!) Plus, seeing Tony Ja kind of show off at the release in the special features kind of lowered my opinion of the film. And that's my rant of the day. -Drew
