That looked pretty darn cool, the first person bits were great.... CHAAAAAIIIINSAAAAW!!!! ;D ;D ;D Looking forward to this one more... I just know it's gonna be the a-typical popcorn munching put brain in neutral type affair, but provided it's a good one and throws in a few scares then it'll be fun Kaz

If the Doom fanboys try to moan about this now then they should just give up. Talk about faithful!
I think the POV sections may divide audiences though, however that's often a mark of a 'cult' movie.
Popcorn and chainsaws....nice!

Just got back from seeing it. Not great but it could've been a lot worse. Don't be afraid, it's not another resident evil apacolypse. The first person sequence later in the film is awesome and was right on par with playing doom 3 imo. The gore is nice and plentiful along with the appearance of the BFG. I suppose my only major gripe is this one fight near the end that's kind of random.

Dunno when it's out here to be honest, so I'll probably grab a copy of it once a decent one is out, if I like it I'll go to the cinema. What you said sounds good though (especially about it not being another Apocalypse), providing it's a fun film then I'll be ok with it. Still a shame that they have to go the commercial way and make it a popcorn flick rather than what the film *could* have been... Kaz
