What I mean by the subject is... when you make a post, do you care about spelling mistakes... do you give a crap about grammar... and do you constantly go back to edit your posts a billion times before you are happy with it? Or, do you actually proof read the post before clicking "post message". Better yet, do you make use of the new spell check function on every one of your posts? ;D I must admit I am very sad and do a combination of the above, even if I do still miss my own errors often... is anyone else as bad as me? Finally... are any of you mods UBER bad... as in, have you ever corrected the spelling of another member because mis-spelt words bugged you? Before anyone asks, I have never done that... but believe it or not I have seen mods on other forums do it!!! Kaz

For the most part I don't usually care but I check to make sure I didn't misspell any words.

i post my stuff then edit it afterwards if i find some nasty typo or coding error. spellcheck? bah! regarding modding, i only got to use my mod powers a few times, and i'm not usually bugged by bad posts much unless it's something inflammatory

I usually proof read it first and then post, checking for embarosing mistakes later on.

I still miss mistakes even when I proof read - like the one I made the other week where I say I wanted "the dic" instead of the "disc" or something similar edit: I just noticed I put "grammer" and not "grammar" in the poll question... told ya! Kaz

I mostly check my post while previewing it, and if I happen to be too lazy to preview then I sure am modifying it when I notice a grammar error in there afterwards.
And yes, I do edit other members' posts on the forum where I mod when I detect errors in the topic title.

a "load of carp"? Spellchecker indeed ;D flan: that's not too bad at all (editing topic title, mis-spelt ones can be annoying ), but I have actually seen mods who edit the whole of someones post to correct spelling! The only time I do it is when someone submits a review for the site; I briefly run the spellchecker on it and then read it myself... although I don't often correct grammar as that would mean playing with someone elses work. The only time I usually do more is if someone asks that I do so. Kaz

I'm probably the King of fucking up then looking back at my post later and being totally pissed at myself then rushing to correct it. Also when i'm trying to present my opinion on something i keep changing it like 20 times till i'm finally perfectly happy with it.... Unless i'm drunk

ah yes... drunken-ness, the source of much forum/chatroom hilarity. I've lost count of the amount of times I have posted complete crap when I've been drunk (I do it when I'm sober actually )... in fact usually I just try to steer clear of the forum when I've had a few too many beers. I do occasionally slip up though - there is nothing worse than being drunk and highly emotional! I also end up editing my posts sometimes just so that I am happy with the way I have presented what I am trying to say in my posts. I don't always do it, but now and then I just get these obsessive compulsive moments and end up editing stuff a bunch of times Kaz
