Another thing... people with the special status could be given extra powers... not mod powers obviously, but perhaps simple stuff like being able to add events to the calendar? Now the calendar has been improved on PBV4, maybe it is time we used it, I suppose it could come in useful?

Adding certain game release dates etc is one possibility... maybe other stuff too? When you add events to the calendar, they also show up at the bottom of the main forum page as you may have noticed.

the release date idea for calendar is cool too

2 release dates added to the calendar so far (PS2 Twinkle Star Sprites and MotW). I will try and add more stuff in the future - if any of you mods have time, feel free to add more up there.

We do need to try and make sure it stays updated though if release dates change ;D.

edit: smilies popup link fixed again, but the "click here to see more smilies" link does show up at the top of the page like it used to. Still need to figure out how to make it appear in the actualy smiley box...
