As I say, im crying tonight cos since I was 2 years old, I dreamed of this happening, and for the first time in 20 years or so it has happened. This I willl remember all my life, no matter what happens!
Even if Dudek and certain others leave this season.... all of them will never walk alone!

dudek is the man..... he has made his mistakes before, but even before tonight I have always respected him for the things he HAS done for us (league cup 2002 anyone?). At the end of the day, even if he leaves us this summer, he will go down in history tonight!!!

They pure totally cheated...correct me if im wrong but the keeper isnt allowed to actually move before the player kicks the ball (go see Man U vs Arsenal last week) and there is a simple fact for this kiddies...
If the keeper is allowed to move during the penalty then the Player should be allowed to dummy making it harder for the keeper to save the ball and if this was allowed the keeper might dive and then the player can just tap it in which isnt fair at all WHICH IS WHY they made the rule that the keeper isnt actually allowed to move before the ball is hit
^ Ok the stupid leg moving thing is allowed but he was running up and down the fucking line clearly against the rules??? I thought they cheated anyway and didnt deserve it...

Yeah tsim you are right about being able to move on the line (and have Grobelaar style spaghetti legs... I LOVE IT!!! ;D), although I will admit that Dudek moved forward on one of the penalties (the 2nd one I think it was), but watching the replay just a second ago I think Dida did the same for Milan when he saved on of ours. These types of decisions tend to even themselves out really, and considering Milan should have had a player sent off, considering we should have had a cast iron penalty just before Milan scored their 3rd, and considering they let a 3 goal lead slip from their grasp, I think it was fair that we won. Jeez, even one of my mates who I was just chatting to who sort of follows Milan and was EXTREMELY pissed off said that they didn't deserve it if they lost a 3 goal lead. But yeah, klarkus, you do have a knack for trying to cause arguments like this don't you? This must be the 4th or 5th time now. You did it when England drew with Turkey to qualify for Europe, you did it a few times recently during this European cup run. Be honest: you do it on purpose just to get a reaction right? Anyway it doesn't bother me. All that matters is that the cup is on its way back to Liverpool, and no-one can take that away from us. And quite literally they can't cos we get to keep this particular cup forever now  Kaz <--- very proud man  ps yes I was a little emotional again last night... lol |

Would love to watch it but I'll be at work... will try to record it, although I should be able to download it later on from Liverpools site cos I'm an e-season subscriber ;D Kaz ps Tsim - good luck for next season mate. I said this to ant down the boozer last night (the one who posted in that other Liverpool thread) that next season should be a cracker. If I'm honest I don't think we'll be on your level in the league, but then again we might just pull a few surprises out of the bag again! ;D Either way, best of luck mate, and here's to another successful season for two of the best English clubs there is - and here's to a successful next summer for the National team!!!! |
