Fave song right now and why?

OK, not had much time to post lately as I have been busy with work/getting drunk/and other very important activities (read: gf stuff ), but I'm back now and thought I'd post something before I head off to bed (will be back tomorrow). Just wondering what song tops your playlists at the moment, and why? At the moment, I really can't sop listening to the following track:

God Forbid: Antihero

Why: For me, this song is everything great about metal. Not only does it have GREAT heartfelt lyrics (about war etc), but it's fucking BRUTAL (especially live!) and it has some amazing guitar riffs and if you removed the lyrics you could actually put it into a Guilty Gear game and would almost not know the difference. I can't stop listening to it at the moment and I'm really digging God Forbid in general, especially after seeing them play with Killswitch Engage a few months back (hopefully Crag/Pumpkinman will back me up on that). Definitely recommended for metal fans and one of the best tracks around at the moment in my humble opinion!

So what about you guys/gals? What song(s) are you listening to right now and most importantly WHY? Don't worry, it doesn't have to be metal/rock, it can be from any genre. I'm just curious that's all ;D

The latest song i've gotten is Bloodstone- Natural High. A very old song but it's on the "Jackie Brown" soundtrack. My reasons for liking it, cause it's chilled out and groovy.

Not listened to the new Papa Roach much yet, but I will. Is he still having a moan and talking about suicide because "lifes not fair" when you are a millionnaire like he always has done? ;D I like Papa Roach, but he does like a good old moan

I kinda like that song off Jackie Brown, but I really like the Bobby Womack song from the intro to the film. Best chilled out track Tarantino used in a movie is still Son of a Preacher Man by Dusty Springfield though ;D

LOL,no really.Got way too many different styles i listen to so i can´t really pick one song.
When i go out to dance i listn to latin music....salsa,bachata,merengue and so on.
I sometimes listen to J-Rock when i am at home or in the train...same goes for heavy metal.
So i can´t really pick one song, i like to listen to a lot to just stick with one.
mhhh...ONE by Creed is also pretty damn good.

That Bobby Womack song is really sweet as well as many songs on the Jackie Brown soundtrack.

I Don't think anyone could disagree with QT's nice taste in songs for his movies

i like listening to rock when i'm kicking back with the buds around, but by myself i really like some New Age, RnB, Jazz, Latino, and Alternative songs.

my fave song of all time is Bizarre Love Triangle by either New Order or Frente, but I also D'Sounds' Tatooed in my Mind and People are People (the Depeche Mode's People are People is ok too, but D'Sound's version is way different and more mellower), Tracy Chapman's Fastcar and Gimme One Reason, Pet Shop Boy's Domino Dancing and most of Duran Duran's music like Come Undone and Perfect Day. I really like Duran Duran's taste in fashion too

i'm no longer a fan of J-rock and J-pop or any asian pop/rock music (except some of the songs made by local bands 'ere) since it's being played so much in school by this certain person so much in so many times that the "Yugi-Oh" theme song he loves so much is now virtually up my ass  

currently, i've been having terrible headaches with the Barney song "I love you, you love me" song being stuck in my mind...

WHY: Because it is great. The song truly represents the sadness and sorrows of love, and also how being alone can leave you sad and wickedly miserable. . . also, i think it has great beats, its not that HEAVY on the guitars (compared to Gackt's other songs), actually, the guitars are only rhythm, and the main "riffs" are done by, Violin! but its not that cheesy classical stuff, real dark and somwhat sad violin tunes that suits the lyrics very well. i think it is one of Gackt's best songs. . .

It's used on the RE: Apocalypse OST and it's on their new(ish) album. Really nice and chilled out song and I really can't recommend it enough!

The other song is HIM - Wicked Game. I hadn't listened to HIM in a while, but I've been playing them an aweful lot lately, with that song at the top of my playlist. It's an 80's cover (original by Chris Isaak) and although I'm not usually a big fan of covers (especially when the song in question is one of my favourite 80's songs of all time), this is probably the best cover ever... imho at least. Check it out ;D
