People there are uneducated morons that have nothing better to do than put people down for no reason.
Nobody here from that site here is there?
anyways I just wanted to introduce my self and hope that it's more civil here than it is there

Heya - welcome to the forum and I can definitely say that we are usually really chilled out here... we have our moments but 99% of the time we are all here just to have a laugh and enjoy the games. Have fun here  Just for the record, I do go to neo-geo.com and other members here post there also, and the majority of people I know there are good people... unfortunately there are the select few that seem to lurk there for nothing but causing arguments (big sites like that always attract that kind of thing I'm afraid), and there's a few who can never just "agree to disagree". Too many good topics there turn into flame war needlessly, but I don't want to say a lot of bad things about the site because there's still a lot of good people there, and Shawn is a pretty good guy. Anyways, as I said, welcome to the forum and hopefully you'll enjoy your stay!  Kaz |

right now my Neo collection is made up of the Dreamcast ports
Garou, Last Blade 2 and KOF 98-2001
I have Metal Slug 3 on XBOX (and it's HARD)
I'm getting SVC Chaos when it comes out and the KOF Double pack when they make it to XBOX
I hope to get an MVS Soon 6 slot Pefereably.
I have a huge collection of roms (almost 50 last I checked)
but I don't count roms plus my soundcard is busted playing them won't be much fun with out sound.

Back when I started emulating, I was dling neorageX roms from a site, that randomly had bad dumps. Like they were mixed in, so all the KOFs had speaker popping static for sound, as did LB1 (but not LB2) Samurai shodown games, Fatal Fury games. And AOF 2 was seriously messed up.
Needless to say, when I found out this was not indicative of all neo roms, I went and dled my sets again (on a 56K!)

Only sound problems I found on my Neo Rage X roms were
the sound going heywire when I tried to make a WAV off some (such as LB 2 and Garou)
I still can't get metal slug 5 to work in it (I get a copyright notice) saying they bust my ass.
Good thing SNK is porting all their 2d games to XBOX now.
or I'd be screwed (or out a few hundred everytime I wanted a Neo Game)

Bemani kept threatening to leave ng.com so often biomotor gave him a permanent vacation. Then he re-joined and like the massive troll he is spammed and whined all over the forum (inside and outside of the war room) and got his second nickname (Thereverend) banned as well. I haven't really looked at them yet, but Bemani, if you have caused trouble elsewhere I won't ban you here as you haven't done anything wrong here and I don't like to add bans etc based on this kind of thing. All I ask of any members is that they stay civil with each other and we keep the forum relatively clean, and if anyone causes trouble that is when we would decide to ban them. If you wanna explain your position on those links viper posted then feel free, but please don't turn this thread into a flame war. Kaz side note: Christian anime forum?? Frankly i don´t care what someoen did on other forums.
Clean sheet from the start, i say.
We´ve got mods running around here 24/7 so trouble will be spotted pretty fast. But then again, i don´t presume anyone has bad intentions when entering a forum so i don´t point teh finger before something has happened in the forum itself.
Thanks for pointing out the bad experiences other forums have had with a member but i think it would have been a better idea to send a PM to Kaz or one of the mods instead of painting a member black in public.
