Well, the date is commign closer for the PS2 version of SvC to come out. It´s release is 25 December in Japan for a price of 6800 Yen. since we all know the censoring that caused the american PS2 KOF topic on neo-geo.com to get like 17,000 views, i will probably be getting the import.
Before i do, i want to know first if the top loading method will work with it (you know, when you get the special top you install on your ps2 that makes it a top loading system you can use boot discs with) and if it has any type of language option (which i doubt)

I thought it was due to come out today (18th)? Being released on Xmas day doesn't sound right  rebellion: I never used one of those, to be honest I prefer to have my machine modded than relying on a swaplid like that. I know there were problems with getting certain games working on them, but I heard they had come out with better boot discs or something that got round the problem. I would assume that it would work ok, but my advice is to get the machine modded for imports, provided you can get someone reliable to do it  Kaz

PS2 version looks supprisingly sharp 2 me, maybe its my non liking for capcom characters anymore but i think im gonna pass on this one, games like kof & Samsho i feel like playing any day any time but this game got boring quite quick 2 me & it didn't feel enough like kof even to keep me playin it for just the snk characters. I'm hoping the gameplay is more fun in the sequel.

Yea, wasn't it supposed to be released yesterday ? Anyway, looks like they added transparencies and also, isn't Geese and Demitri not supposed to be visible on the select screen ?

Actually it does seem that the date has changed (also on the Playmore site) to the 25th. No idea why, and it does seem a bit weird to have it released on Xmas day. Oh well, I guess it just means we have a little longer to wait  Kaz

The icons for Demitri and Geese atleast look alot better than the bootleg ones, also im happy 2 see the art, though falcoon is cool and all i really liked the character art in svc. It sucks that playmore keeps having these delays not just for ps2 but even on the mvs games, definately not acceptable.

Yup, the in game artwork on the characters looks great, i wonder who made it. The ingame looks very clean,edge enhanced on the spites and stuff.

If you check the pic again, you'll notice that Geese and Demitri are there instead Kyo and Chun-Li (wich looks like they are not on the screen)

That is kinda weird, but I'll guess we'll find out soon. I'm still wondering if they have fixed the hit detection a little and maybe removed some of the infinites etc?
