anyone tried this shmup yet? www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfZivRNJNow looks like fun  ordered kof 2001/2002 for ps2 just recently (around $24) and i'm working part-time now instead of full-time. i got enough time to go to that fabled japanese mall/supermarket a couple of blocks away from work (i've already visited once but it was only recently that i knew it was nearby). i bought some of them japanese gaming magazines (sale for $3 each. originally $7) and for the price, these game mags are twice or three times as thick as the ones we have locally, with lots of cool art and screenshots but the majority of screenshots are a little smaller. lots of text and game art in pages is pretty nice though. |

So i finished Ico for the first time last night. I had gotten it a few months ago but i stopped about half way through. In terms of gameplay, i don't think it's as amazing and inovative as i had read about. It did give a great feeling of adventure and exploration along with superb audio in every aspect to me though.
A game with Ico style exploration and animations along with Zelda style world and enemy design... I could only imagine what an amazing game that would be.

Caved in a bought a new copy of Valkyrie Profile for ps1. I don't wanna say how much I had to pay for it.

I don't wanna say how much I had to pay for it. that's definitely one of the most awesome-yet-overlooked-at-the-time RPGs ever. i've been dying to get a copy now, but the price for that game is so damn high ever since it became rare. speaking of playstation one games, i heard that suikoden II is so good hardly anybody is willing to sell their copy, and from what i've cheked, it's quite common for that game to reach a 3-digit price. |
