I know now all of you like the Matrix sequels, but for anyone that is a fan here's the ideal DVD box set for you: www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds14901.htmlIt is made up of **TEN** DVD's (yes I said TEN!) that feature all three Matrix movies, plus the Animatrix and lots of special features. What I found most interesting is that in addition to the cinema cut of Reloaded, it contains an extended version which incorporates all the footage that was shot for the Matrix game. Surprisingly it won't retail for a crazy price either - according to that article it has a RRP of £44.99, I I personally love the series and unlike many I did enjoy the sequels a great deal. All I can say is that for those of you that are fans of the movie, I'm willing to bet that this is something that will most likely find its way onto your Xmas list Kaz

I know a few people lost interest a bit if they didn't like part 2... but it is worth seeing, I enjoyed it personally, although the ending is a little bit of a cop out, and leaves it open for a part 4. Probably entitled "Matrix: Re-Reloaded... The Cash Cow Returns" ;D

I loved the first film but the second just seemed to be an excuse to have more exciting action scenes. (though they where amazing ) I'll just say, stand alone the matrix is a classic film but the trilogy as a whole... though i like it, (and i did understand it, i hate when people try and tell me that the only reason to not like it is lack of understanding) there comes a point where a movie trying to be so deep but entertaining at the same time it tends to contradict itself like crazy and for that i don't consider the trilogy something that i'd like to own. Anyways, enough babbling. Any of the Matrix movies kicks the hell outta plenty of other Sci-fi movies out there so i still do highly recomend all of them to atleast give a chance.

Yeah I've heard the whole "but you didn't understand it" argument from the more hardcore Matrix fans, and although that is true in many cases (you should have seen the reaction of many dumb people I know after watching Revolutions ), it isn't the only reason for disliking the trilogy. I think more than anything, the main reason you are going to love it or hate it is whether or not you actually *like* what the Wachowskis were trying to do with it... I do personally, but I can see why not everyone does. One thing's for sure though, there's enough stuff in there (including the unexplained bits of story) to keep you talking about it for a while after (which I enjoy)... and no matter what you thought of the movies in general, the action scenes are damn impressive, particularly in Reloaded ;D Kaz

Yeah I've heard the whole "but you didn't understand it" argument from the more hardcore Matrix fans, and although that is true in many cases (you should have seen the reaction of many dumb people I know after watching Revolutions ) Hehe, i find it funny when my really serious matrix fanboy friends who used to say "dude, the second one was fine, it was brilliant but you just didn't get it" then see the third one and come out of the theater going "wow.... they sure fucked that up, that made no fucking sense" All i can think about that is, what the fuck do you expect? I fully understood it and though the ending was fine but really after they started getting sloppy with the story im Matrix 2 (imo) i didn't take the sequels seriously like most people anymore i just liked them cause they where fun as hell to watch.
