I normally don't worry about the looks of the forum.
If it is a cool place to be, I am in, but I must say that the improvements were really for better and it is looking awesome! ;D

looking good mate.....everything seems a bit cramp down the middle of the page though....don't know whether its my resolution.....would seem better if it/pages would use the whole width of the screen.  hullcityfcmad |

Yeah it is centered and smaller than before, which is how this skin is... I could alter the width, but to be honest I like it this way, and quite a few forums are like this  (it's meant to be the same width as the banners at the top and bottom btw). How does everyone else feel about it though? Btw, I'm just trying to figure a couple of things out - I want to try and fix the smilies box on the rpely page so it is visible for people using netscape/firefox browsers etc, and also a couple of other things people have suggested. It's giving me a headache at the moment though  Kaz |

Thier is a slight prob and that's with Fierfox IB ... it dosen't show all the Emoticons for some reason It would be a bit better if u could also expand the width it looks a bit cramped up ;D Still kicks ass though  |

To be honest I'm quite fond of having the screen thin like this (and it has to stay this width for now to match with the banners). All I will say is that if we do a competition where people can make some new banners to be used, if someone does make a banner that is a little bit bigger, then I could adjust the width accordingly. I do still want the screen to be centered like it is now though, instead of filling the full screen, as it does look much neater. Kaz |

This is how I feel : Right back at ya! OK guys and gals, I added an extra option for picking smilies that should work ok for Netscape/Firefox users - when posting, look at the top of the screen and you will see a link that says "Click here to see more smilies" - click that and a box will open up containing more smilies. I also added this because it has a few extra smilies in it that were too big to put in the normal smily box... check 'em out!!         These are a few I found on my HD... I can also add a few more (but not too many), I'll see about that later. You can also check out www.mysmilies.com to get more, they have some great ones! Don't overuse these smilies though or you will get: Kaz |

**FINALLY** - at last managed to fix the affiliate buttons at the bottom of the main page! They were not working properly before, but now they all work and link back to the sites that have helped me in getting the new design sorted out, and for any of you that have a proboards forum yourselves, I'd highly recommend taking a look at them. You will notice that the links back to them only appear with small banners on the main page and not the rest of the forum, where they are simple text links... the reason for this is that I thought too many gfx all over the place would get annoying You may have also noticed that the news fader is a new one - I changed to this one as it looks far better than the standard proboards news fader, gives me more room to write extra stuff (like important announcements etc) and more importantly, it does not have the annoying bug that the old one had, that caused the main page to "jump" or flash every few seconds. Now those are done I can concentrate on some other forum stuff... will try to get some more smilies added to that box later on ;D edit: I forgot I had already uploaded these gifs a while back, so I linked em into the smiley popup box:           Again, feel free to use them, but don't abuse them Kaz |
