just wondering what all your desktops are like...tidy,messy,minimal shortcuts or loads....post your pics!! here's mine:  mines pretty tidy...with stuff that i use most of the time....dont know why i thought of this as a thread...must be having one of those days!! hullcityfcmad |

 Mine is a MESS! A few months ago, I was just playing around highlighting my icons by dragging the mouse, will, anyway I accidentally duplicated all my icons and though I've deleted most of them, I'm still left with the residue. ALso I got some spyware once, that put a bunch of crap on my desktop, and spybot and adaware haven't discovered it yet. --when I delete the shortcuts manually, they just appear again next time I boot. |

Get windows regcleaner to clean that stuff out.
Be warned some spyware installs .dll's that once deleted can cause a system to fudge itself up the ass.
Adaware cannot delete some stuff either as I have 3 registry keys that keep coming back and need to be looked at.

What did you use to set the desktop up like that? I did find a site that had loads of skins you could use on XP, but you needed a program called windows blinds or something to use them. I've not looked into it yet, although I might soon cos I feel like sprucing up my desktop a little Kaz |
