... BUY IT BITCHES!!!!! ;d Dunno how many of you are into Killswitch Engage, but I'm a massive fan personally. If you liked the last album then I highly recommend getting the new one (The End Of Heartache). I must admit I leeched the promo CD of the new album today, but I'll definitely be buying it when it comes out officially as it is really really good so far, and I am SERIOUSLY digging the new singer. I still love the old singer, but Howard seems just as good imho... So... any of you listen to Killswitch or has my rant fallen on deaf ears? Kaz

It's on deaf ears in my case. I'll definitly give it a listen though. Depends on what your taste in music is... if you like thrash you'll enjoy it. However, Killswitch Engage are also very melodic, as well as being very loud, and it's just an awesome combination... plus their lyrics absolutely kick ass and are actually quite deep and meaningful at times which makes a nice change of pace. Tracks I recommend listening to (old album) Element of One Rise Inside Last Serenade Actually the whole album rocks, but those are the best tracks imho. On the new one I'm not sure what tracks to recommend, but "When Darkness Falls" is a standout tracks so far for me. Bear in mind that the last album (Alive or Just Breathing) is the old singer, while the new one is the new singer. Both are amazing. Kaz

The way you describe them they sound like a band I listen to called Chevelle. I know Chevelle... not really like that to be honest, a lot heavier. Go to kazaa and grab those tracks or something and see what you think... it really does depend on your taste in music whether you will like them, but I highly recommend giving their songs a couple of listens cos they grow on you. They go VERY rapidly go from heavy + screaming to calm + melodic, and as I mentioned I really dig their lyrics Kaz

Yes very heavy rock... thrash metal in fact. Difference with Killswitch though is that there's a lot of screaming and shouting, but the lead singer (both the old and the new one) can sing really well too, and some of the music is VERY melodic and just downright cool. The first album is a must buy if you like this kind of thing, while the 2nd album seems pretty damn kick ass too Kaz
