My preferred waffle is the Brussels waffle:  It's inflated and crusty, topped with flour sugar, cream and hot chocolate sauce. Icecream can be done too, although that is to be preferred on pancakes. Waffles from Liège come packed with butter and sugar inside so they're a lot heavier on the stomach. Something to go for through meals to still hunger, whereas the Brussels waffle mostly comes right after a meal. Liège waffle:  |

actually i am not a big waffle fanboy, they're too sweet for my taste.

Those pics look sooo tasty flan_man  I've had those waffles with the powdered sugar, icecream/whipcream & fruit before for desert... so nice. |

Actually the drooling tactic is very useful when there's a limited number of waffles in relation to the number of waffle lovers. Just accidentally drool on top of a waffle and you can be pretty sure it's yours.

Ehh... I'm starting to think you like waffles too much flan_man ;D a) I have a desk job b) I am working for the government c) I spend most of my money on games and anime, which doesn't leave much for warm meals Conclusion: I depend on waffles and Coke for survival. ;D |

So, do you guys go more for the toaster waffles? Or the "make a batter, and put it in the waffle iron" waffles? I like the batter waffles, but I mostly have the toaster ones cause I'm lazy. Also, whats better: The circle waffles? Or the square waffles? Or something even wilder  |

I just had a square waffle, fresh made with belgium batter mix by me, with ice cream, strawberries, and powdered sugar on top  I like batter waffles better but usually i'm lazy so i just make an eggo. I'd actually rather use my batter on pancakes  |
