Granted I need quite a bit more posts, and other people certainly have the amount needed already, but those people are all moderators ;D Let's see now... only 5~6 or so more months at my current rate of posting... Wow... you're right! Didn't Throwen used to be a moderator? Nope. In the beginning it was seiryu, goukistar, and daemon as moderators. Eventually they become global mods along with candycab and boriquasnk while buddha-kun and I were regular mods. Much later we then became global mods along with goemon, daaren, and hullcityfcmad. Throwen is one of the highest ranked vets here though. |

I just started playing Onimusha 3 today  It's pretty good but already i can tell that like the first 2 better. They tried to go for the Devil May Cry 2 esque gameplay but same thing as in the DMC series, i liked the original style better. Overall what's disapointing me though is the absolutely horrid dubbing and the silly plot/dialouge (a fairy... why the fuck...) using the same villan's and player model's that i've slashed through many times before in earlier games. |

woken up with a stinking headache today......sick of getting these shitty emails which reckon they have attachments and so obviously are viruses.need a cup of tea to get me going i think.

Gotta say I disagree with most of that man. I think the game plays a whole lot better like this than with set camera angles, and at least now you can see what you are sposed to be slashing at 90% of the time... plus I think the backdrops look much better than when they were pre-rendered. I agree about the dubbing though, but I have to say it's not as bad as I imagined it to be (although believe me it sounded far better in Japanese)... Jean Reno does sound far cooler with his real voice he speaks in French near the start of the game - I can't remember if he actually spoke the Japanese lines in the JPN version of the game though. Sorry but the fairy rocks though...  Some might find her annoying, but I really like her, and it is actually a VERY good plot device later on in the game because you have to use her to warp between the present and past time zones so you can take control of either Jaques or Samonusuke as and when you need them. I am almost at the end of the game, and I have to say that was on of my favourite parts so far  Kaz |

I like that dialogue, thought it was funny... what can I say, I have a thing for cutesy characters, and I don't think that she is annoying in the same way as someone like Jar Jar Binks . Besides, she is quite important to the storyline. Btw, there are a loty of new bad guys later on in the game, although you do fight the same old Genma near the start I know.
