I just finished playing Suikoden 2 for the ps1. (its an old game but i never finished it when i first played thru it due to lost mem. card) Not really being an rpg fan anymore i'm supprised i got into it as much as i did. Its truly one of those great games along with its prequel overlooked by many of the standard squaresoft only rpg fans but has one of the most epic and classic stories ever in an rpg. Anyways, 50 hours down the drain, now i'm bored agian...

CAT??.....meowww hullcityfcmad ;D CAT = Citizen's Army Training or in other words, military training. it's biatch coz it used to be a requirement for all senior high students, and i was part of it only to find out the next school year (when i graduated) that it's now optional! i became an officer after training in COCC during junior high, but i resigned coz i couldn't find the time to do things at home anymore (stay in school from 6am to 8pm!? #@%$! on that!) it's a waste but i did prefer skipping the friday drills than sweat myself under the sun commanding cadets... and it was good ol high school times... we climbed over walls, be a teacher's pet (carry her stuff and all), and bribed the MP (Military Police. not the actual, just punk students who are my friends) just to skip CAT practices! i'm startin to miss high school already... ;D

Suikoden 2 ROX!
Though I can't believe anyone would ever be able to get all the characters.
I'm also not a big RPG fan. Suikoden 2 is the only RPG I have ever finished / wanted to play through. It is simply amazing.
Suikoden 1 was ok, but I never finished it. Neclord was literally impossible to defeat. I've never been able to do it so I gave up.
I asked my friend what happens if you load the suikoden 1 data in suikoden 2, when it gives you the option; he says the "extra story" it gives you, is that you go an a quest to some guys house, and you recruit the guy. The guys name was "Captain Suikoden" or something like that.
Suikoden 2 ROX! I know I already sayed that, but it needs saying again!

Very much Agreed, i'm glad to hear somebody else here has played it other then me, the suikoden series is certianly alot better then any of those crazy metro sexual rpg's (yes i'm talking about the newest ff's) that peeps play on the ps2 nowadays. (hence it still being a very hot product on ebay, i just can't bring myself to sell my copy) Anyways, i earned all 108 characters in each game but i wasn't able to get the main character from suiko 1 in the sequel (which can be done only by having the save game memory from completing the first) due to a lost mem. card. I loved the storyline in both and overall liked them equally though i like the way the big war battles where controlled in suiko 2. About that "Captian Suikoden" character, whatever you happened to name your main character in the first game will be his name in the second so his name can vary. I definately recomend you go back to try and complete the first if you still have it darkschneider cause it's truly is excellent. Remember you can always get some strats for defeating Necklord if thats the only thing that held you back Suikoden 3 has been out for the ps2 and the 4th is in dev. but i'm not sure if i'd like the change to 3d, from the pics i've seen it just doesn't look right and i read that the large scale battles where'nt included.

Raiken, congrats on that bangin Vectorman Sig. & Av, Vectorman rocks. That is all. Thanks man ;D Pulled out my old genesis for the first time in a while then put those together after a quick game of vectorman. V2 was awesome too albeit hard but the new one for ps2 looks like shit.

Vectorman was so cool. A shame the Genesis was past its prime then. Not many people seem to know the game.
