It's a good sequel. But I preferred the first movie tho, but this one's great too. It's more violent than ever.  I know some ppl have seen the first, or if you have any questions about BR, ask away.  |

Ok I watched the subbed version of BR2, at first I didn't understand the movie's complete story. I'll just give a little info about it. It plays three years after BR1, the public is now aware of the Japanese government about Battle Royale, so riots break out etc etc, the 2 survivors of the first BR now get in to those riot groups, and fight against the Battle Royale project. But they get in an already running Battle Royale, with more/different students, who are way more violent. So they gotta kill and get out of there, but their previous Battle Royale feelings about their dead classmates gets in their way the whole time. The story's in each case better, but sequels dont give the same feeling as the originals.  Oh the class gets these army suits, so yea they look more professional and violent. |

BAH! the first one rocks  really bloody and very... extreme at some points, and they seemed more casual in the first unlike in 2, it seems that they are in a sci-fi war movie but, were talkin bout BR2 here.. well i havent seen 2 yet, (only 1), BUT, im currently askin my firend to DL 2 for me btw, Greg, thanks for bringin' this topic up, BR is one of my fave movies ever ;D FYI - the actress of GoGo Yubari from Kill BiLL was also in BR1 |

Her role was awesome in Kill Bill, too bad she had to die like that.  Seiryu, I highly recommend BR1. It's one of my fav movies. The story may seem weird at first, but it's very well told, and almost each student has their story. Some deathscenes were pretty dramatic, but they didn't show it in a dramatic way in the movie. About BR2, I guess I was off in some points, the 2 survivors of BR1 started a group called "Wild Seven", and the new BR project (the new class) has gotta hunt em down. The beginning looks like the Saving Private Ryan D-Day.  ----- On another subject, I just finished watching Azumi (2003) with Aya Ueto. Have you seen that one buddha? You probably have, it's about Aya being a samurai. |

Oooh that samurai movie definitely rocks, especially the end fight. Aya Ueto (Azumi, i'd rather like calling her Aya Ueto, I dunno why. ;D ) vs a whole village full of crooks! And she looks very cool in it, with a cape and all.
Best samurai movie ever. Last Samurai better be good, but just because pop singer/idol Aya Ueto is in Azumi, it's GREAT

well, ive watch Battle Royale 1 for about 70 times now (yes i love the movie!  !) and i have decided that this is my fave scence in the movie!   spoilerhere's what happend: 1. the girl under the table on the top part put poison on the food she is gonna serve to the hero 2.the girl in blue suit eats the food, pukes blood, dead... 3. then another girl (not shown in this pic) get scared and grabs the machine gun and blames everone 4.everybody points fingers on each other on who to blame 5. everyone is scared, they go berserk, they all kill each other 6. the main culprit is left under the table, shocked, later she killes herself by jumping from a lighthouse (this room is inside the lighthouse) ok, im too bored, that's why i made this |

My fav scene in BR is probably the Kawada flashback scene. Where he kills his girlfriend Keiko. It was pretty damn dramatic, with that background music + Keiko was cute. The way her life ended, in the arms of Kawada, and Keiko saying "Arigatou.." with a smile...  |
