What Lies Beneath... LOL! I have had that movie on DVD for over a year and still haven't seen it . I got it as a free gift from Fox ages ago, but for some reason I just never get round to watching it. Right, that's it - I am gonna watch it in the next week or so, and if I don't... somebody punch me! ;D Kaz

I've just watched Irréversible. A french movie. Not a horror movie as such, but still spooky because of the weird camera angles, the haunting soundtrack, and some of the explicit scenes. What makes it even weirder, is that the movie starts with the end, and then works it way up to the beginning. If you're unfamiliar with this, I suggest you go and watch Memento first (a couple of times ). Oh yes, Irréversible features the lovely Monica Belucci, but she has a rough time in this one... I almost forgot having watched What Lies Beneath at the movies. I didn't think much of it. Invasion of the Body Snatchers. If you're referring to the version with Leonard Nimoy and Donald Sutherland, then I have to agree. It was the best remake. The other ones are tedious. Other scary movies, apart from the ones I already listed: -Species: was it that obvious that the costume designer also worked on the Alien movie? ;D The train sequence is pretty cool, and it goes for the classic fake shock effects (everything is peachy, and then suddenly BADANG... oops, it's nothing, sorry); -Mothman Prophecies: I never even got to see a monster, but the atmosphere is frightening. What makes it scary is that you never figure out what is going on for real because there are different explanations possible; -Mimic: I hate bugs, and these ones are big. And what are those turds hanging from the ceiling? Best part is that most of the movie takes place underground, with those classic dark, narrow corridors we all got to love so much.

Monica Belluci... ok so I'm more or less completely unfamiliar with her work, but I do know one thing: I loved Persephone, especially in that outfit she was wearing in M.R. Kaz
