The Prince Of Darkness was an awesome scary movie. Its not well known but it scared the crap out me when I first saw it. And I agree with flan_man the thing was scary they need to make sequel or remake it would be awesome. Kurt russel when he actually made good movies.

The thing´s perfect the way Carpenter made it. It oozes cult and horor. The prince of darkness has always been a fav of mine. It´s not much of a shock effect like lots of zombies and corny horor scenes but the whole atmosphere and feel to it is so overwelming dark and cold that it´s perfect. It stays in your head for a long time after you see the ending. By the way, i saw the american ring last week and.....boy was that a big disapointment. There were maybe 2 shock moments in there and for the rest....well, the whole movie didn´t make real sence and the way they brought the myth kinda was too slow, so slow that it lost the edge and the movie turned a bit boring. One big plus though...the main character woman was real yummie, especially when she fell in the well and came up from the water with her shirt all wet and sticking to her b00bs....lol, BEST SCENE EVER in that movie.

I got to go with you there Sei, I thought that The Thing was preety scary (espacially when I saw it at the age of 10) I didn't like the US version of the Ring either. They stretched it to much. I think the Well scene was the best too!

Yup, that's seiryu allright Considering the wet t-shirt scene to be the best. Hey man, you desperately need to watch Freddy vs Jason. You won't even have to wait until the end to see boobs, the opening scene already has them. And all of the girls are racked! Nice and all, especially if the clothes get torn up here and there. Definitely fanservice allright. ;D Of course I only watch it to see Freddy in action. I wouldn't call his movies scary (maybe the first and second, and parts of the "New Nightmare" where they gave him a completely different look), but it's a hoot to watch all of this sarcasm and wicked, pun intended, one-liners.

Yeah Aliens Vs Predator is on the way, I'm not sure how it is gonna turn out though. Paul Anderson is directing it I believe, and although he has made some very entertaining movies (Resident Evil, Event Horizon, Mortal Kombat), I think they could have got a classier director for this movie, especially considering fans have been waiting so long for it.

I hope RE 2 doesn't suck. The first one was ok but this next one better be good since they went to the trouble of putting Nemesis in it.

The first RE suffered in the scariness department because it tried to stay clear of a 16+ label by all means. I still liked the movie, but I never understood why they went through all that trouble (I read the underground base was put in the script because it didn't affect the jury that much if people got killed underneath the ground), especially considering the fact that most of the people who grew up with the RE games are now adults anyway. It's the power of money I guess, which has ruined a lot of potentially good horror flicks.

It was insane how well they made the life size version of the train from RE 2. It was very similar to the game.

I dont watch a lot of Horror films, but from the one's that Ive seen the creepiest I found was Nightmare On Elm Street and Invasion of the Body Snatchers(The 1978 remake version, the remakes made after that were pretty crap to me).
