Post Date : 2003-11-10 10:48:39 Ho, ho, ho, marry crismus. So, SNK is sold out of SVC Chaos Jamma Boards. Good news? Yeah, but what about the people who want the game? Well, we guessed one day that the Jamma SVC's would be of some value because of how fast they would sell out and whatever you see left from online shops, that's it!! But where's the good news? For those who already have the Jamma, consider it a gem piece, but for those who don't, such as those who bought the BOOT MVS, we have some better news for you. Yeah, you guessed it, the Official MVS Version of SVC Chaos is coming out sometime in November. Not only do collectors want the MVS version, but more importantly, so do arcade operators for those multi-slots. To add some syrup to the pancake, remember the mini marquee? It's back, and this time, it'll be made out of plastic, not paper, so it's a fine day, might you say? I think this calls for a celebration and a pre-order of the MVS SVC CHAOS. Price of the MVS version is uncertain at this time. Posted by TRIEU Source: www.snk-capcom.com

Thanks for posting that man - I read this yesterday on snk-capcom.com and it has made me a happy man. I was talking to seiryu about this game on MSN, I'll be buying the PS2 port when it gets released but hopefully I'll be able to afford the MVS cart soon... maybe I know where my Xmas wage bonuses are going now... You couldn't even DREAM of a better curtain call for the MVS. A solid fighting game, one nobody ever thought would really come, one that uses the legendary and historic rivalry between capcom and snk to the fullest, but most of all... ...one that has sprites from throughout the Neo's history!

...one that has sprites from throughout the Neo's history! lol yeah... if the rumours about SNK Vs Capcom 2 are correct, I hope they actually bother to re-draw *all* the SNK sprites next time around. That's the only thing that has really disappointed me so far, although I'm still yet to play it so I'll reserve judgement until I do. I wonder if there will actually be any minor adjustments/bug fixes in the actual MVS cart? It's not unknown for arcade games to get minor revisions (see the MK games and many more), so it is a possibility. I think it might be a good idea - mainly to fix a few of the supposedly easy infinites and hit detection probs. It's probably not something SNKP would even mention, they might just do it and let the fans find out themselves. I suppose it is also possible that they might fix those bugs with the home cart version too, and probably the ports. Kaz

I guess its alright now to say that SVC is the best thing SNK/Playmore have done in a while now.

yup...it was a big gamble.... Making lots of commercial and propaganda for the game....risque If it would have been a flaw game, it would be so over for the statement the name SNK would give towards the outside public. But, they pulled it off, big time.
