Well, perhaps the Atomiswave news was a bit premature. Trieu has posted on snk-capcom.com to say that SNK *is* releasing KOF 2003 for the MVS, but Sammy is actually making their own KoF game for Atomiswave... kinda weird, but it seems thats the way it is. In case you are wondering, Trieu is a very well informed guy and if he posts something you can be sure it is the truth... for example, he posted about the forthcoming SS game months ago... he just has good contacts. Good. Like you were saying earlier it would be nice if the MVS KOF's ended on a better note then 2k2.

Yeah, 2002 was botched alot, i want KOF2003 to be as good as KOF 98-99-2000
And if the Atomiswave news is true, i hope sammy makes a PS2 port of the game, HI-RES KOF ;D YEAH !

The atomiswave is like a generic dreamcast. Its basically a naomi board and it's interesting because its essentially only used for 2-D because of the lack of flashiness in the graphics...it could easily become the new Neo Geo IMHO.

Atomiswave is a powerhouse for 2D? That definnitly does sound like the next neo-geo! SNK had always stuck to 2D more so than other companies.

They better make new aditions to the MVS version of KOF 2003. Fans won't be too pleased if they reuse the same old formula again.  |

Athena should have GROWN a bit, after 9 KOF's ;D
but i hope the put Moe, Reiji, and the evil schoolgirl from KOF-EX2, and shingo should return.. with a new fighting style (more like saisyu's)

weird, there are 3 KOF's with ramon in it... and still, i havent even used him! not evenn once, not even as a striker!  the only reason k9999's char desing if awful is becuae he was a ripoff to begin with (tetsuo of akira), and i agree, seth looks like an ass. but he is still a decent char. do you know Justice? a striker from kof99evo, he would be a nice addition to KOF, even though he is another Kyo  |

Ramon is sposed to be top tier in KOF 2002... but he just looks so... well, for want of a better word gay. He is so dorky, I think that just puts me off. I tell you one thing that will make me really happy - if they put Jhun back in there, and actually give Kim a really good team to fight with.

I've actually started using Ramon a lot lately, agreed he does look like a moron, but he flows pretty well. He's kind of a dumbed down grappler.
