hmm.. i think its not worth it, i still like the mirco's functions  you could always play in daylight anyways

even during daylight, the glare is terrible!  i'd like one of these if we didn't already have two nintendo DS in my household (which can play GBA games also). got the second DS for $129 and totally worth it for the wireless multiplayer.  the backlight of nintendo DS is bright enough anyway, but any nintendo handheld, may it be an update of an older one, is always in my wish list

I dont get that. They just bring out a brand new GBA which looks smart but now releasing a GBA SP which is exactly the same as the old one but brighter? lol weird

Those comparison pics make it seem as if there is a world of difference between the two screens. Is the difference really that striking?

Those comparison pics make it seem as if there is a world of difference between the two screens. Is the difference really that striking? Not really imo. I've compared my old style SP with my DS(it being backlit like the new models) and the difference was never enough to make me care.
