Here's the thing: I got myself a modchip (Matrix Infinity) for my slim PS2. I have the instructions for it so that's no problem. The problem is that I have no clue has to where or how to set up the Laser Fix (arm-shape chip) that came with it. Does anybody know what to do with it or do I really need it?

I havent modded any slims BUT I think i know what this is and on v12 consoles this can be very important even tho it might work without it! Its a plastic bit + pcb and some stuff on it? ie. not just a lump of plastic? Without it v12s can burn out FAST by all accounts.... is this it (includes solder pic from link) : www.mod-chip.com/en/v12_neofix.htmIf its not that erm... it might be a swap arm or cable replacement or something ... dunno check www.modchip.com stock see if you recognise it. Please just use for legit back up or homebrew... |
