He's a smart sob, that's what he is. He knows that there is easy money to be made like this. Also noticed that it's even getting higher up the ladder? Hillary Clinton is starting a crusade against the Hot Coffee hack in GTA, and against violence and sex in video games in general. It's probably good for her upcoming presidential campaign.

God why can't these tards focus on something important. Like say, the war? Either that or this maggot needs to go back to the hole he crawled out from.

I think he never even saw the game. Graphic love scene? I didn't play Killer 7 myself yet, but isn't it just referred to in the game, with some noise?

God why can't these tards focus on something important. Like say, the war? Either that or this maggot needs to go back to the hole he crawled out from. They will never focus on the actual root of problems of society, they just look for an easy way out and use something as a scape goat. Actually looking at the reason why we have so much violence etc etc would be too much work for them, so they gain votes by stirring things up and making the uninformed masses believe that video nasties or video games are the root of all evil... and if we didn't have them we would live in peaceful times. It's like when the Dunblane incident happened here in the UK (where a madman burst into a school and shot many of the VERY young children that were there). Our current shitty government were running their election campaign right about that time (before they came into power), and 0one of their main promises at that time was that they would ban handguns completely, so not even gun clubs could have them.... they said it would reduce gun crime. Well guess what? In the past eight or so years, anyone in the UK will tell you that gun crime has gone up ten-fold... so what did the ban do exactly, apart from stopping regular people who have a legitimate reason from using them? Some of you might also remember the killing here in the UK that was linked to the game Manhunt? That actually happened right here in my hometown, and the newspaper reports over here were very sensationalist as usual, and they all placed the blame purely on the game and nothing else, and basically said that if it wasn't for Manhunt then the kid who commited the murder wouldn't haave done it. Well, having worked in retail in our city centre for a long time, I know that the guy who did it wasn't a particularly nice person LONG before Manhunt was released. A lot of shopkeepers that I know have said to me that they recognise him and he used to cause LOTS of trouble when he went into their stores years ago, and had been pretty violent when they tried to throw him out for shoplifting etc. Suffice to say, the media never reported anything like that however... that kind of thing just doesn't sell papers does it? The headline 'drug money problem motive for murder' wouldn't have sold papers.
It's only those who don't play games who blame them for such horrific acts. It's newspapers playing on the idea that a lack of knowledge breeds fear.
If parents are concerned about the games their children play then why don't they find out about them by themselves rather than by tabloid journalism. Working in shops, the amount of copies of GTA I sold to parents who just didn't seem to care about my warning of an 18 certificate was very depressing.

Working in shops, the amount of copies of GTA I sold to parents who just didn't seem to care about my warning of an 18 certificate was very depressing. Dude I'll totally back you up on that, same thing happened to me many times with both the GTA series and many other games. It's not just parents who don't care either - it's parents who don't KNOW. When I explained to some parents the content of the game they were about to buy for their 8 year old, a lot of them freaked out and said "yeah but these games are all made for kids, how dare they put content in them like that?"... that's the sort of uninformed BS that causes us problems in the first place really! Hell, I must admit that I did manage to get hold of and play pretty violent games when I was underage (seems a long time ago now though ), but my parents always raised me to know the difference between fantasy and reality, and I was also raised to be a decent person. If you ask me that's the REAL problem, as well as ridiculously lenient laws that let some of the little shites that roam the streets these days get away with stuff easily. The main thing though, is that it's easy to scare people and then win votes by pledging to crack down on violent games or something similar, and a LOT more difficult to actually tackle the real root of societies ills. Politicians are only in it for themselves these days, they want to be re-elected and stay in POWER, so they will always go for the easy route. EVERY damn time! Kaz

What is also ridiculous but hilarious at the same time is that he thinks gamers ARE trying to kill him. gr.bolt.com/articles/jack/jack.htmHonestly, there has to be something wrong with his head.

He's like the strange kid in the schoolyard who eats dirt / worms etc just because he wants attention from everyone else. Unfortunately his rants are earning him too much attention. I wonder if his true motives are what he beleives to be the 'evils of society' or just media exposure for himself?
However the more he moans, the more people will probably get sick of him (and I'm not just talking about gamers here). Maybe he'll find a new trick or something else to blame?
I'd better stop writing before he e-mails the NYPD about me as well!
