Just watched the movie, looks REALLY nice. I'll maybe grab it when it comes out... I'm always up for a good new shooter, and although I'm no expert, Cave games are usually great!

^well, i've been playing this for months now (arcades) so all i can say is, Cave got to be more... easy, it gets harder and really challenging, but its still relatively easier than let's say, DDP or Progear no Arashi... mainly because (based on Cave mag interview) they want non-shmuppers be encouraged to play non threatening "easy" games.... great OST btw

Will have to look out for the OST... Kaz

Looks gorgeous. I'm not that big a fan of shooters but it still looks great.

Do you know of anywhere to find out info about purchasing caves ps2 releases flan? Hm, I just visit Lik-Sang and Play-Asia frequently as they both promote shmups. Right now, Mushihimesama has its own banner at Play-Asia for example. Apart from that, I visit sites like shmup. The shmup release list for ps2 and psp, taken from that site: - 14/07/05 > Strikers 1945 I & II (Taito Best) (PS2) - 21/07/05 > Mushihime Sama (PS2) - 21/07/05 > Star Soldier (PSP) - 28/07/05 > Sengoku Canon (PSP) - 28/07/05 > Taito Memories Vol.1 - Joukan (PS2) - 28/07/05 > Twinkle Star Spirits: La Petite Princesse (PS2) - 04/08/05 > Simple 2000 Series 2-in-1 Vol. 5: The Shooting ~Double Shienryu~ & The Helicopter (PS2) - 18/08/05 > Shikigami no Shiro: Nanayozuki Gensoukyoku (PS2) - 25/08/05 > Taito Memories Vol.2 - Gekan (PS2) - 22/09/05 > Raiden III (PS2) - 22/09/05 > Space Invaders Galaxy Beat (PSP) - 29/09/05 > Sega AGES 2500 Series Vol. 20: Space Harrier Complete Collection (PS2) - 29/09/05 > Sega AGES 2500 Series Vol. 21: SDI & Quartett ~SEGA System 16 Collection Vol.1~ (PS2) Then it's just a matter of looking up these games individually in order to find out more about the developer, concept, etc.

I played and beat it yesterday and it was really fun just as i expected from a cave shooter. It wasn't as long as my favs like ESP and Guwange plus it wasn't that difficult but it's still high class compared to alot of other shooters.
