For sure one of the greatest inovating online RPG games is the old Phantasy star online that came out on the Dreamcast and later on the PC,X box and Gamecube.
Still after 10 years the masses are online to battle it out on the Ragol system planet.
The game playes like an action game, as you can use a jpystick to comtrol your chara and its a real time battle system so you can slash,magic cast or shoot away at the enemy when you want to (no Turn wait system like Final fantasy).
The latest PC installement is Blue Burst,its an enhanched version of the regular PSO with the addition of the new characters from the GC and xbox versions( the female ninja hunter,the female soldier ranger and the male human force user).
It's one of those games you must try out if you have a pc and can get online.
Best thing is...its for free on the sega site.
Well that is, its the beta version of the english version, but its like the full version of the regular pso plus the new additions.
It's a wopping 500 mg download and registration is free.
If you biuld up your character in the beta version, it will be taken over to the release version once it comes out,meaning that what you have build up now you can use in the retailer version....mhhh, handy to start with your level 35 hunter or something like that.
I recomend you all to try it.
