Firstly-
I went into my local arcade to see they had the SNK Vs Capcom machine (BRAND NEW MACHINE! THEY DIDNT GET RIDDA MATRIMELEE!)....except there was nothing on the screen.
I asked the guy what the fuck wa sup, and he said that the board they got was fucked and they are waiting for the new one to come in. He then joked that he could turn it on for the hell of it to see a blank screen. I joked by punching him in his fucking face. Little shithead.
hehehee, but yea, best cocktease ever. The machine is right there, with no Board in it. ugh.
Also -The new kof ports for Ps2 are sounding fucking great. They have bumped up the sprite count, redone all the backgrounds, etc. etc. This 2-pack (2000 and 2001) might be the kick in the ass we needed over here.
I cant wait for the upgraded 2001
You think they will be uncensored here in the states?

i hope they re-do 2k1 like they did on 99 evolution..., but please.. change the freakin crappy music!  .. but ti dbout that they will not censor the US release... that's why i ALWAYS get (J) versions ;D [all my ps2 games so far are (J), except FFX, DMC1&2 and Xenosaga] |

i hope they re-do 2k1 like they did on 99 evolution..., but please.. change the freakin crappy music! .. but ti dbout that they will not censor the US release... that's why i ALWAYS get (J) versions ;D [all my ps2 games so far are (J), except FFX, DMC1&2 and Xenosaga] But aren´t they completely in Japanese? You can´t read the Story and Victory Quotes the, can´t you?? |

Man that would suck to find an SvC machine not working... hope it gets fixed so you can play it soon (lucky SOB  ). Can't wait to try KOF 2001/2002 on the PS2, although I still need to get the MVS carts to tell the truth... Kaz |

well, as far as censorship goes, the games will probably have "bounce" but no blood in order to get a teen rating in the states. Thats how the 2 on dc were anyway.

GGX2 has craploads of blood and only got a T rating.
I mean, yea Last blade and Sam showdown would get M ratings, but SvC and KOF would still only get a T rating.

But aren´t they completely in Japanese? You can´t read the Story and Victory Quotes the, can´t you?? i CAN read japanese, only hira and kana, but not much Kanji (chinese characters), and RPG's use a lot of Kanji, but fighting games, dating sims use mostly hira and kata.. plus,, japan versions have "extras"! ;D |

for example... Project Justice for Japan has a Character Sim game, Card game and has Sakura, while the US vers didnt have Sakura and the extras.. and they have [glow=red,2,300]BLOOD[/glow] (eg, LB for DC)  |

Yeah I remember that mode getting deleted from the US Rival Schools... I was *so* pissed off about that, as I wanted to play it but couldn't understand it properly in Japanese. Guess Capcom got lazy and couldn't be bothered to translate it as they didn't think anyone in the west would want to try it.

my god, it is so amazing...i mean FUCK!
look ima bout to bust a nut, thats how impressed with it i am now.
my first time with it was at otakon on a supergun setup on a HUGE screen, with the new style neo geo sticks.
i couldnt do dick with the sticks so i lost horribly.
but now, its in a NEW arcade cabinet, and IT ROCKS SO MUCH.
i only played one match, and it was one of beauty. I was Ken against Terry and we fought like hell countering every move the other made, like i did my uppercut super, then he immediatly did his blast super cancelling mine out.
i lost, but hey i love it and need to practice.
i can say without a doubt, this WILL BE the game that ties Last Blade 2 as my favorite game ever.
