Ninja Gaiden

I know it's a pretty old game now but one of my buddies let me borrow his Xbox and i just beat the game. It really makes me realize how easy action games are getting nowadays.

Anyways i'll just say imo it's the the perfect example of what action games are all about and puts stuff like Devil May Cry and all the other random 3rd person action games that come out on the ps2 every month to shame. Considering games like Zelda are more Action/Adventure games i think Ninja Gaiden is the best pure and most challenging Action title i've played since the pre 32 bit days. I can actually play it over and over and still have a good time.

I'm sure msot of you that beat it already did it a long time ago. Those that did, any thoughts on my analysis?

It's the best in its genre. And there I was, thinking this was hard, until I tried out one of the tournament packs that you could download... They'll include them in the upcoming Ninja Gaiden Black so definitely check those out if you didn't play them yet and like your games tough.

Although it has a lot more in the way of diversity, I wouldn't say it puts Devil May Cry to shame. I still have a good time there too, pinning enemies mid-air and then blowing the hell out of them.

I'll say it:It Izzzz better then Devil may cry!
No really, the games are very simular though i like the overall appearence of Ninja Gaiden way more,grafics and music appeals more to me.

I liked the touch they did on Dead or Alive Ultimate by adding Ryu's Ninja Gaiden suits....both old skool from his 8-bit generation and his X-box ninja gaiden version.

I cant wait to get Ninja Gaiden Black.

DMC does own though... and if we are talking difficulty, I'd say DMC3 must come close
