I doubt it.
The neo is still the main platform for SNK games, i think it is very unlikely that they would bounce it off all of a sudden to take a step with a thirt party machine.
Giving the rights to make a snk production on the atomiswave is more likely to me.

i saw on the new snkplaymore update that gato's, kyo's and iori's art is up and the story for the game and the outlaw team too. does anyone know if that stories has been translated by anyone yet?

To tell you the truth, i am having a too much fun time with SNK vs CAPCOM to really go into an all KOF 2003 hype, so i'll skip the vids and stuf for now.
Maybe in a couple of weeks or days that i'll change my mind when i have played SvC to death.

man... as soon as I make a post, seiryu is there to reply... I get the feeling you are trying to stop me catching up on posts... you stalker  . Just kidding, but anyways, time to get back on topic...  I spent a good couple of hours playing vs mode in SNK Vs Capcom with a friend and it was really good fun. He doesn't play SNK games too much but he is into SF a lot and we had some awesome matches that really went right down to the wire. But even after all that, I still can't wait for more KOF 2003 news... I guess it is just human nature - it doesn't matter what else you already have, nothing stops you from wanting more ;D. You are right, I should just sit and play SvC and be happy (and I am, really I am  ), but I can't help wanting to see some better KOF 2003 pics etc... Kaz |

But with SvC getting released so fast after Matrimelee, Matrimelee got pushed to the background with all the SvC hype. Same is happening with MS5 and SS zero now that KOF 03 has been revealed. Plus 1 post, you can't catch up. |

Yeah I'm a self confessed SNK whore... but that's probably a good thing cos otherwise this forum/site wouldn't be here... hehe I know what you mean about stuff getting forgotten man... I still wish Matrimelee was a little more recognised than it is, but to tell the truth even without SvC it is a bit too much of a "wacky" game for many people to really understand it. As for MS5 and SSV, I do know a lot of people who are more interested in those than SvC, although (inevitably) SvC has taken away a lot of the interest from them. I kinda get the feeling SSV will continue to be ignored by many people apart from the SS nuts like us, but MS5 will generate a lot more hype closer to its home cart release. I think SNKP have to shoulder some of the blame though, as they don't seem to be doing enough to promote their games. It's great that they are releasing so many good titles, and it's great to see regular updates to their site (as well as the MS5 vids!!!), but I want to know what happened to the fanfare for the MVS release of MS5 and SSV?? SSV just kinda snook out into the arcades, and the same thing has happened with MS5 so far... in fact, I bet most people don't even know it is already out  Kaz Anyways, this reply evens things out again, now I'm about to go to bed... as soon as I wake up I will commence spamming again so that I can catch up with you (j/k of course ) |

I'll just skip commenting about the characters rosters and look forward to the gameplay. My hope for the gameplay:
- KYO -- hopefully Kyo is back to his 98's self, speed and strength. Regain Mu Shiki, and faster Orochinagi.
- MAI -- if she gets her anti-air back (as in 98) that would be better. Otherwise she is good enough.
- BENIMARU -- hopefully he plays like his 2000's self. Better still with a grabbing DM.

SvC  , though i was anticipating SS5 more and i still haven't played it  . About the kof2k3 hype being bigger i think it is or atleast it is for me it is because even though im not a capcom hater id still be more anxious for a new kof over SvC any day just cause im not that much into capcom characters. Also, it seems that playmore has created a game that looks like its finally kicking the series up a notch even over kof98/98 and thats a HUGE deal, i been wating for that to happen since the release of kof 99. |
