I read this interesting rumour. Namco is going to let you buy new costumes and weapons like before, but they might also let character's use other's poses (which was a Gameshark code for the PS2 SCII). The idea of Ivy using Voldo's pose... lol! I love stuff like this, it's always fun to mess with it. Remember the "create your own intro" thing in Soul Calibur 1 for the DC where you could put characters into different parts of the intro movie? Putting Cervantes in Sophitia's intro where she gets up in a really girly pose was HILARIOUS Kaz

and as for the setsuka lady, i think she is a mai/ranmaru(ninjas' master) rip off Nope, this is not quite true. Her fighting style is 'Iai', like Ukyo or Hibiki, not ninjutsu. She can draw out a small blade from her umbrella.

Just by looking at the bgs it's easy to see this is gonna be the best looking SC so far. The created characters do look a little poopy though

I've never really liked Soul Calibur. But I don't really like 3D fighting games too much. Or I just don't play them enough. I only rented Sould Calibur 2 and never really learned it. Meh, give me 2D fights!

I guess nobody is really interested in this, but I'll post this link anyway www.watch.impress.co.jp/game/docs/20050918/sc3.htm because I'm really happy at the moment. Sophitia is confirmed, shown together with a screenshot. Now I have nothing more to ask from this game.

So, this beast has been out for a while now who's played it? Impressions?
I just spent about a whole day playing and unlocking about all the characters. Though I still won't say it's balanced, it's way more balanced then SC2 and more solid imo. I still don't think this series doesn't take too much skill it seems to be as good as SC is gonna get.
The graphics are mind blowing for the ps2. (Of coures topping even Tekken 5) The character creation is alot deeper then i thought it would and their are alot of fun modes to mess around in.
Wether you think SC is just a button masher or not their is no denying how extremely fun this game is. I definately recomend it.
