Anyone playing this, or have played it? Just got the PS2 version and not tried it much yet, but it seems... interesting. The graphics and animation are really nice (animation being especially smooth), but the control just seems a little stiff and weird. Gonna put some more time into it, but right now I can't see it being a game that I'll play loads.

Awsome, i read recently that the Japanese ps2 version was coming out soon. From all the vids i've seen the game looks beautiful and is supposively made by some of the old snk dudes.
In what way is it stiff? please tell me more about it as you play cause i was thinking of getting the import next time i buy a ps2.

I dunno... it just feels weird, at first it doesn't quite seem as responsive as most other fighting games, but you get used to it... it's weird really. A few people I've seen talking about it on forums have said it actually plays in a similar way to KOF, and I can kind of see the resemblance... although the actual feel is very different. I'm gonna give it a bit more of a playtest before I really judge it. The vids are nice, except that streaming them is a pain in the ass. Anyways I've heard of the Rumble Fish. Seems that they animate the body, head, and limbs separately so it allows for smooth animation. Works well. Heard that they are making a sequel w/ 4 new guys. Sounds fun. I just hope it gets ported to the States.

i just played this game today. This game rocks speacialy the battle system w/c is like playing kof and guity gear. The animation is cel shaded but it feels like ur playing a 2d game.this game also easy to master especialy if ur a kof and ggx fan. i think i'm beginning to like this game. Damn the Rugal look-alike boss is so ****ing hard. even the boss looks like rugal.
