since i'm quite a fan of Hokuto no Ken, i tried it... and i really liked it a lot ;D it's quite nice actually... the simultaneous team battle mode is totally satisfying suggestions? here are a few i can think of: 1. an english patch on the character voices 2. character dialogue before fights in story mode (it's ok if it's text conversation, but it'll be really cool of they talk before the fight just like in the series ) 3. some of kenshiro's pressure point techniques as super throws 4. aerial 100 calci otherwise it's great! can't wait for the final version

Yes, actually those features could improve really the game.
The problem is where we can find english voices of the chars (we have only italian and japanese ones..).

The problem is where we can find english voices of the chars (we have only italian and japanese ones..). heheh it's ok... i didn't think it would be easy either. i find the italian voice ok anyway has any of you tried the Playstation 3D beat-em-up Hokuto no Ken (not the early one from i think 1996)? that would be a nice reference for the beta game. oh yeah a few more suggestions (hope i'm not too demanding ): 1. a strong single hit special moves for Kenshiro (maybe a punch that'll send the opponent flying across the screen?) 2. tone down the projectile moves/supers a bit (CPU seems to be abusing them a lot) 3. shorten the starting animation of "Distruzione dell'universo" a bit just like i said, can't wait for the final version being a hokuto no ken fan that i am ;D

You're not too demanding, your suggestions are correct and useful. A lot of people asked us to shorten the Distruzione Dell'Universo.. I'll ask to the rest of the team if it's possible to make those correction you ask (they are good ideas!)

Wow, just tried it and I have to say I'm impressed by it, it seems very good indeed! Didn't play it for long, but things I noticed: 1. The sound was a bit buggy at times... sometimes when I started a fight there was no music, just kind of a scratchy noise in the background, and then other times the music played fine. Sound effects were unaffected though. 2. Hit detection - sometimes it felt like kicks and punches that should have hit just didn't connect. I know this is only a beta though, so you probably know about these things . Like I said though, it seems like it will be a very good game once it is finished! Well done! Did they ever release the TV series on DVD with the English dubbed voices? If they did, you could maybe rip voices from that, although personally I prefer the Japanese voices. The dub was more funny than anything... Kaz

Yes, probably we could rip the voice from the english DVD (I think it's released "the fist of the north star" in english).
Only a thing..I'm italian and maybe it's a slang word, but.. what does "dubbed" means? I can't translate it, sorry!

Yes it is called Fist of the North Star dubbed basically means when they replace the original language track with another language. Like when they take out the original Japanese language track and put in an English or Italian or any other language audio track Keep up the good work! Kaz

Also - if there is any chance you could use the song "heart of madness" in the game... you would make me very happy ;D By the way, I went to the www.hokutonoken.it/ site, and tried to download a couple of the mp3's, but the zip file was corrupted on all the ones I tried. Any idea why that happened? Nice site though! Kaz

I understood what dubbed means, we translate it in italian with "doppiaggio". In Italy we have some good dubbers for the films! I'm not the webmaster of hokutonoken.it, i have no idea what happened.. Maybe try to ask help in that forum.. www.forumfree.net/?c=4258
