Another Tekken thread (a poll this time)

Just wondering what you all think is the best overall soundtrack in any Tekken game? I included an option for both the Tekken 3 OST and AST, because if you remember back to it both were quite different from each other (OST was better if you ask me ;D).

My vote goes to Tekken 2's AST... some amazing tracks on there, like the Kazuya stage music, Yoshi's stage and many many others. All of the Tekken soundtracks are very good in fact (apart from T4 which was average imho), but I really do love the AST in Tekken 2, so I'd have to say that's my own personal fave. Tekken 3 is close though, and Tekken 1 was pretty good in places too. As for Tekken 5, the soundtrack is perfectly suited to the game and I really love all of it, but there's only a couple of TRULY outstanding tracks in there (whereas the others are all just very good). Tekken Tag was pretty cool as well, but again there were only a couple of tracks that I really digged.

What do you guys/gals think?

Geez I dunno... T3 for the psone was the first tekken I ever played so I have a soft spot for that game's AST. The music for the parking garage in T4 is definitly one of my favorites and I'm really diggin T5's stuff atm.

i voted for the T3 AST since i find it the most memorable and the most appropriate soundtrack for the game. it's just kinda limited since nearly all of the secret character's soundtrack are all the same.

Tekken 3 will always be my fave, I played that a bit too much when it first came out, I still get the stage music stuck in my head now ;D

Tekken 2 had the best soudntrack
Tekken 3 was good but i didn't like the OST
Tekken 5 soundtrack is kinda growing on me, i love it

i voted for t3. jin's bgm rocks.   i've even tried playing it on my guitar b4. next to it are paul,julia, and hei.

I dunno if you mean the Tekken 3 OST or AST, but Ido remember Jin's AST very well... that track was damn awesome. They actually kinda did a weird techno-ish remix of it in the Devil Within mini game on Tekken 5 actually.
