I'm curious how many nintendo fans that own a Gamecube are up in here. The console has been out for a while and i didn't really think much of it when it first came out but with titles like Resident Evil 4, Starfox Assault, & the new proper 3d Zelda game coming out this year i decided to get one.
Since i picked it up i've been having tons of fun playing games like Smash Brothers Melee and Mario Tennis. Resident Evil 4 was excellent as well and probably the best survival horror game ever released imo.
I haven't really noticed anybody mention much about the ol Gamecube around here. Who has got one? What games are you diggin on it?

I have one. I mainly got it for all the new RE games which I love. RE 4 is great but it just doesn't feel like RE to me. More like a really good action game. I also have Ikaruga, naruto 2, naruto 3, warioware inc., metroid prime and a few other games. I'm definitely glad I bought a cube.

May well pick one up later in the year for Animal Crossing, Resident Evils, Zelda and Monkey Ball (I know Monkey Ball is coming to PS2, but the PS2 analogue control is horrendous in comparison).

I bought a gamecube on the day of release for £130 with loads of extras, personally I love it It's got some great titles out already with some good looking games coming out pretty soon. My fave's are Eternal Darkness, Metroid Prime & Resident Evil (the re-done one). I also really liked P.N. 03 by Capcom, the little gem kept me occupied for about a month. Not too many people seemed to like it tho I need to get the new Metroid but lack of funds are making this very bloody hard (Temping sucks) The control pads do suck some major ass tho

I still have one and enjoy it now and then. I bought mine expressly for Star Wars when the Cube released { did the same with Gt when the PS2 launched } I have amassed about 30 games and I like the platform overall... the 1-T Sram is pretty trick so the hardware intrigues me quite a bit too I will continue to enjoy the platform for years to come even after its run

My friend just recently got Star Fox and it's quite fun. Though the Nintendo is mainly survives doing sequels to it's old games i'd still much rather play them then alot of Generic 3rd person action games and RPGs that come out for the PS2 every month.

I just played Star Fox myself and it seems alright. The graphics look great but the control doesn't seem as smooth as the 64 version. God the voice acting sucks ;D

God the voice acting sucks ;D Hehe, i've been noticing. Though Star Fox has always been like that imo. The N64 version was definately better imo from what i've play so far but it's still quit fun. If only it where longer and had alot more space missions.
