Hey guys, well I'm at the mall looking into buying a new hat. I like hats...
...you could say I'm a hat fan, but i digress.
Anyways, I stroll by my local electronics boutique, peer inside, and decide to pickup a copy of Virtua Fighter 4 evo. I ask the guy behind the counter to hand me a copy when I see, tucked away in the corner under a few copies of the getaway ($14.99 by the way) a platinum ngpc with six games. I ask the guy to bring that over instead to have a look at it, he says, "this thing?"
"yep," I say.
He gives it to me and for $80 I get the system and six games. As I turn to leave he yells, "Hey do you want these?" So I end up buying 4 more games.
Anyway, I take this home not sure whether or not I made a mistake and I realize that this thing kicks ass. I love it. I've been playing neo turf masters and MOTM non stop.
Just felt like sharing my epifany (spelling?).

www.lik-sang.com has a really good deal on ngpc's. they actually have a better deal than I got...except I got all the games I wanted and didn't have to pay shipping. I can vouch that this is a great site to buy from and they ship pretty damned fast considering they're in HK.

Damn that's a pretty sweet deal you got Boriqua. And at EB... I hate how they charge you full price for a new game that was taken out of the case for display. I know it's not used but everytime I have to buy one of those it's got fingerprints and crap on it. What do they do with those games...?

lol, yeah, I've had some pretty heated arguments over manhandled display cases. If the managers nice he'll take 10% off, that happened to me a couple of times (only when an employee steps outta line).
I've only had this thing for a couple hours and I'm already looking for more games...anyone seen gal fighters recently for cheap?

Nice score dude ;D I hardly ever buy anything at EB anymore since they arent worth a crap around here. Their prices are about $4.00 more than any other retailer on average and it seems like the majority of these "new" games are rewrapped and sold as "new" after a return, And to top it all off most of the people that work in thier stores are totall dick heads that have no clue about anything other than giving anyone who comes in a hard time. Its really pretty sad when I can get better console game deals at my local Toys-R-Us than a game specific retailer. I almost forgot to mention their used game prices are a totall joke ! ohhh ahh a whole $ 4.00 to $6.00 bucks off ,well just go ahead and put it in me with no lube then , Ill take it dry Screw EB ;D

I have a Gaming-Store nearby, which is very great, the best in Austria (well, what should that mean.... ;D), okay, it has NGPC-Games for 4Euros ( should be 5$)!!! Anyways, they don´t sell NG-Pockets, so I see no Reasons for buying these Treasures. What I wanna say is, I need a NGPC!!!!!
So, where can I get it the fastest??

Yeah....good call, bro. The neo pocked versions are friggin addictive of most games.
And MOTM...awesome.The evil ryu version they made in there is still the best i've seen to date.

You know I actually saw this today over at EB behind the counter as I paid for Soul Calibur II and was going to pick it up. Only thing was I didn't have the 80+40 on me. . So you think it's a good buy BoriquaSNK for the price 120 and you get system and 10 games? Also what games are there?

As far as pricing, I found out that Gamespot has the system bundle for $10 less, but its very hard to find a store that carries it and I don't know if the games are the same as the ones I got. The games that came in the two bundles were:
Fatal Fury 1st Contact Samurai Showdown 2 SNK vs Capcom MOTM Neo Turfmasters Puzzle Bobble Mini Pacman Sonic the Hedgehog King of Fighters R-2 The Last Blade Metal Slug 1st Mission
So yeah I definately think its worth it. Aside from the fact that neither the system or games are boxed (the games all come with a little plastic snapcase though), its a great deal as these games run $10-25 each. It also works perfectly, I haven't had any problems so far.

Kaz has a few links to retailers on his NGPC site. A few of them are actually in the EU so I'd assume it'd be a little more affordable than ordering one from HK or the states.

I am not sure how many of the retailers on my NGPC page are still around or have NGPC games in stock as I haven't updated there in a while. Lik-sang do have a surprisingly large amount of stock though, which is pretty damn cool. I dunno how like it takes for US people, but I think the last time I ordered from them standard shipping took a week or so to reach the UK. Nice call on getting the NGPC btw... it's still a cool machine, although I mist admit I only really use the GBA SP now. I have only one cart left for my NGPC (MotM of course , although I *really* miss owning Turf Masters as that was a superb game... probably one of the best conversions from the Neo to a handheld that I've seen, and definitely the most addictive!
