Revenge of Shinobi was the one of the games - along with Thunder Force 3 - that I bought when I first got my Mega Drive way back when. It was simply sublime. Underrated if anything.

As usual, I stand alone in my opinion! ;D For me Revenge was pretty much like Soul Calibur: I can see that it's a good game, but it just doesn't seem that fun for some reason. I dusted it down and played it again the other day, and though it has aged far better than Shadow Dancer, I still prefer the latter ... just. And yeah, Ninja Gaiden was the bees knees. I also gave Gunstar Heroes another whirl - that game never seems to get dull. It's still incredible.

Yeah, it´s great to dust off some old games...then you really see the gameplay quality if the game still instandly grabs you for that half hour of mindless fun.
I still love to play some ZeroWing from time to time.
The game plays solid,plus the soundtrack is also awesome, i love it.
