who used ot own and play this console?? ;D well, i miss mine. . . the megadrive/genesis has soem pretty neat games, and it maintained a somewhat cult following. . . hehe, that's alll oh yeah me  +1 |

The genesis was the first console I ever owned and I still have my old model 1 version. I also have a model 2 and nomad.

i still have mine but its busted. i missed playing sonic series and also teenage mutant ninja turtles. btw i fell in love to videogames bec of mega drive.  |

plus one is me. I still play the old genesis games,if you ever played the genesis you know it has that rockhard gaming quality. The games were topnotch. Without a doubt SEGA´s glory days. Revenge of shinobi,streets of rage2,phantasystar4,thunderforce 3/4 anyone?  |

My particular favorites are Road Rash 3, Contra Hard Corps(best contra game ever imo), the sonic series, and X-Men.

my faves were Sonic and Knuckx, X-men gmaes, SamSho1, SoR2, and i'd hate to admit it, i loved (i now hate them) the Mortal Kombat series, i had ALL the MK's for genesis  and thanks to emulation, im really enjoying some great titles like Gunstar Heroes, Pulseman, Landstalker, Soleil, etc.. |

my faves were Sonic and Knuckx, X-men gmaes, SamSho1, SoR2, and i'd hate to admit it, i loved (i now hate them) the Mortal Kombat series, i had ALL the MK's for genesis and thanks to emulation, im really enjoying some great titles like Gunstar Heroes, Pulseman, Landstalker, Soleil, etc.. I'd reccomend both vectorman games too if you haven't played them yet |

I like the Mega Drive and loved games like Streets of Rage etc, but I never owned one properly, I only ever borrowed a friends. SNES was where it was at for me... Kaz |

I sold mine off after I got the Genesis games I wanted for the Saturn. The only classic I still want to pick up now is SOR2 on Dreamcast. SNES was where it was at for me... omg! Fanboy!!!! |

Snes fanboy: the Snes has a bigger colour palette than the Mega Drive so the games look more colourful and vivid
Mega Drive fanboy: pft, the Mega Drive has a much faster processor. You can't touch Sonic
Snes fanboy: Sonic sucks dude. I'll have Mario any day
Mega Drive fanboy: damn fat plumber
Snes fanboy: bluegrape crummy-eyed hedgehog with gay fox running behind him
Mega Drive fanboy: the Mega Drive has more sound channels
Snes fanboy: yes, a shame the sound they produce sucks. We've got mode 7!
Mega Drive fanboy: we beat mode 7 with the svp chip in Virtua Racing!
Snes fanboy: Virtua Racing on Mega Drive has crappy colours, man
