Was bored so I decided to dig out the old A1200 and play a few old games. Been having some long sessions of both Cannon Fodder and Syndicate... both are still as addictive as they always were, as is Project X.
Anyone else own (or used to own) an Amiga? If so, what games do you remember most fondly?

Whoa, i've never even heard of the Amiga This emoticon one billion times There were many different variants of the Amiga, but this one is the A1200, which was one of the Amiga's I owned. It was a kick ass system back in the day, and they are actually still making games and even a newer version of the operating system, believe it or not. I jumped to the PC a long time ago, but the Amiga does still hold a place in my heart and it is always fun to dig it out from time to time Kaz

lol - it's totally old-school... as in a keyboard/computer all in one. Hard to believe, but their are still people out there that use nothing but their Amiga and refuse to go for a PC. I must admit to having a great fondness for the Amiga, and the operating system kicked total ass back then (plus it's about 10 million times more stable than Windows ) but you have to move on at some point. Us Amiga fans are a stubborn bunch though Useless info: I actually used an Amiga emulator (WinUAE) and made a virtual hard drive image for it and installed the Amiga operating system on it... then installed an Amiga web browser to browse the 'net using the emulator... and yeah, it is possible! I have no idea why I did that, just wanted to try it out to see if it worked and it did! Kaz ps Which member on the forums had a copy of Banshee for the Amiga that they wanted to sell btw? I remember there being someone but I have no idea who it was now, and I'd really like to get that game again... one of the best 1942 style shoot 'em ups ever!

Hah! An amiga was the first machine I ever played on, I was about 8 or 9 years old at the time when I played my first computer game on my cousins Amiga, and amazingly it was Street Fighter II ! lol ;D . I remember always picking Blanka cause he was cheapest and easiest way for me in beating up my opponents using the 1 button joystick
