New imported games I played through lately.
Silent Hill 4 : Most likely best Silent Hill yet. They renewed the melee system, just with a big push on the right button will send someone flying. The music/sound isn't as great as SH2, but the voice actors are better. The new enemies create a new scare factor, they've included ghosts/spirits, which you cannot kill. And they keep stalking you. At some points in the game I was pretty scared of the fact that somethings stalking you and you can't kill it, that it infected my reactions while playing the game. Not to mention there's a Sadako-like ghost from Ringu in the game.
I recommend it, and for the heck of it, port it. Because there's an all-English option... 
Goddainer : Based on the anime "Shinkon Gattai Godannar" (Gundam-esque anime) with big anime robots and stuff. The game is very very simple, this is a rent, not a buy. It's a robot fighting game and you can throw your opponents in buildings and other large objects. The funny thing is, the anime has alot of fan service, and I mean alot. When you go for a super attack, you'll see the pilot of the robot moving, taking up the whole battle screen, and shouting something.
