I c ... now come to think of it the paper was a bit thicker than normal it was photo paper or something like that. One side was shiny and the other side normal ... maybe that's y  If it's gona damage my machine please tell me so I discontinue the use of that particular disc. All my other games run perfectly well hardly making any noise. I is thinking that maybe it might damage it  I'm not sure to be honest mate... I don't think it's a good idea to keep using it though. If you really do wanna do labels in future I suggest getting a proper labelling kit and using the adhesive cd labels you can buy. I don't like using them personally, but it is the best idea if you really must  Kaz

Can the boot cd's that enable you to play import games damage your Dreamcast in any way? I didn't find the noise during Soul Calibur to be disturbing, but the Dreamcast does make a helluva lot of noise while reading the boot cd.
