OMG it looks AWESOME although it would have been nice if they had an analogue stick. I like the Ryu one and tha Chun Li one they look really cool ... tha Akuma one looks some wat too dark But it still kicks ass way beta than tha gamecube and xbox too ;D

i only use analog on 3D action/adventure games where precision in movement is necessary, but for all else the control pad works best. regarding the controler, i'm no fan of 6-buttons-in-front type of controller cause i'm easily disoriented with too many buttons up front (unlike the typical PS2 controller). the design on them looks great though

I'd buy that for a dollar! Yeah, I prefer a stick for fighting games now... damn the MVS for turning me into a retard when it comes to playing fighters with the pad now... I used to be so good with them! ;D The pads do look pretty damn sweet though, and I'd guess that the people I play these games against would prefer them to the standard PS2 pads as they always complain about using the shoulder buttons for specials (pussies ). You need a stick to play 3rd Strike properly. Your thumbs can't move quick enough over all those buttons, and then there's the nuisance of negative edge in Capcom fighting games, (if you hold down the button and let go it doesn't count as you pressing the button once, but twice ... only really noticeable when doing a combo, but can get frustrating when the wrong move comes out and leaves you floundering in the air ready for the kill).

I play alot better with pads than i do sticks...just ask kaz about my akuma cc on cvs2...with these pads you can play the buttons like a stick anyway just rest it on your knee or a phone book

My joystick skills have greatly improved but i'm still probably a little better with pads.

But using a pad that way never feels right to me. I feel a bit goofy when I do it too! If I do get a PS2, I think I'll fork out for one of Capcom's SvC sticks. Interestingly, I find SNK games seem better with a pad, especially on DC. With Capcom games tho a stick seems best for me.

I used to be better with pads a few years back when I was mostly playing Tekken 3 on the PS, although I was still quite handy with the sticks down at the arcade. As soon as I got back into Neo Geo stuff again, my skills with pads have reduced considerably... thanks to many hours of using only Neo sticks. With most games the pads are fine, but when it comes to fighters I'm definitely more comfortable with a stick... but I spose with a bit of practice again I'd be just fine Kaz
