lol the new Xbox or hybrid or whatever it is just needs one of those loud ass mufflers and maybe a few "powered by" stickers and it should smoke all the competition...... ;D Personally I would like to see more consoles much like the current ones from Sony and Nintendo which borrow a bit from PC logic but remain very distant from a PC vs the almost PC like Xbox. Its odd but PC's all have the same generic type of feel to the games no matter what the genre or so it seems anyway ? Where as straight consoles seem to feel better in some way , this all probably more mental than anything but I think there is something there. Actually I know exactly what you mean about "generic" stuff... so you aren't the only one. I don't dislike the Xbox, but there aren't that many game on it that are appealing to me, even though I own one. The onyl game that really *WILL* make me dust off the XBox is still Halo 2 (and that's another FPS  ). Kaz |

I have it on good authority that supremelord is actually a Sony Sales representative in disguise! ;D ;D ;D ;D  I swear to you that the PS2 is the only great console!!! Don't believe those bastards at Microsoft, Bill Gates is a liar!!! The Xbox is as powerful as a Master System!!! I tell you its the truth! It's going to be to Apple what the current xbox is to PCs. It's also going to have a solid state external storage medium, as opposed to the HDD.
(read: it's going to suck)
Xbox is an amazing console, and hoping for a superior sequel is just as fruitless in the console industry as it is in the movie industry.
