The new PSP hand-held by Sony has been announced at E3. It is expected to be released in Japan in late 2004 & in Europe/USA in early 2005. I think this new hand-held will piss all over the Nintendo DS. Heres the whole kickass info on tha PSP CHECK IT OUT! Courtesy of E3insider.com; www.e3insider.com/articles/floored/41R80T4JYO.htm It's jus simply the best

I'm not expecting much from it to be honest. None of the titles I've seen for it interest me.

Have to agree with Raiken, the games don't really sound appealing. Props to Sony tho, what they did about the graphics. It's there between the PS1 and PS2, on a handheld.

It certainly gets my preference above that double screen thing Nintendo is planning on releasing.

Ohh and btw ... Sony has said that tha PSP might be used as a phone as well ... i mean a cell phone (In Australia we call it mobile phone not cell phone) according to Hyper Game Magazine. Isn't that cool! Also Sony said they have many nice surprises for the PSP 1 of which is the cell phone ability and others to come ... I jus can't wait the PSP to hit Aussie whores ... i mean shores ;D

Meh. I really prefer it if it just stayed a game unit and not have tons of extra crap I won't use like how the N-Gage is built.

True. But again I doubt they'll bother to replicate the N-Gage.

some game boy games have strategic or addictive elements.. colorful rpgs aplenty, whatever.. these are fine and fit neatly inside the gba's constraints. but with the psp we're finally talking serious gaming on the go, in any genre. you know this thing's gonna blow up on arrival.
